As for the changes themselves, the addition of new stats looks interesting. However, it's not very clear why such an important stat as divinity (which is what the developer is hiding behind the “?” sign) should be introduced and then wasted.

In my opinion, given the lore of the game and the nature of Luna herself, it makes sense to accumulate “divinity” as a valuable and rare stat that allows Luna-Raven to get closer to gaining the very divinity that we had in the final LFFG (canon BadAss Bitch route) and which has been weakened and almost went into the sand during the centuries of sleep that passed after the apocalypse.

Of course, it would be silly to make a stat that is never used in game checks, but in my opinion, checks on Luna's “divinity” pts shouldn't be spent not to allow the player to see a sex scene from the opposite route, but only checked for far more important plot decisions that will directly affect how strong our Dark Queen Luna-Raven will be by the time of, shall we say, the final battle for the new world order. And that such a massive battle will take place (given the developer's stated “new lands” of Luna), I don't doubt at all.

I took it to mean that the divinity stat can bypass stat checks on the land. So if say Luna focuses on Military might, and a stat check comes for Morality that you're short of, a divinity point can be spent to pass it. Luna can also spend her dominance or submissiveness, likely as boost and not a free pass, in a similar manner to the Divinity.

That may actually be the point. I mean, make the player spend ? and then when you really need it, you don't have enough of it. Also, I have an inkling that the new stat 'faith' may be related.
I also think that it would make sense if

Devs just gotta keep making shit more complicated and convulated that it really needs to be.
To be fair, the mechanics in this game were very simplified. Also, having more stuff to keep track of how her domain develops is not a bad thing Imho.

Luna could spend Divinity to perform 'miracles' that would increase the 'faith' of her people. Faith may also increase Divinity in the long run, since having more believers may increase her Divinity

Not bad, but we'll have to see how it would be implemented and what the real benefit of accumulating them would be. But personally, I'd prefer if we were allowed to awaken at least one of the sister goddesses...like the Goddess of Justice (from LFFG).

This Goddess could be incarnated in the body of Diatima and it was quite fascinating. Also, you can always refer to the “ghosts of the past”.. Who's to say that if Diatima survived the cryocapsule, the other members of the hostile “Organization” that is Raven's (and Dia's) sworn enemy couldn't survive?

Surely the dead boss of the Organization could have had powerful aides who managed to escape. And then the story could have gotten even more interesting. The 3rd force, possessing the remnants of ultra-modern (by the standards of this medieval world) weapons, is trying to enslave women for their experiments, forcing the King to cooperate.

And in the final game two Goddesses - the Dark Queen Luna-Raven and the Goddess of Justice Diatima, having defeated the King and his huge army in a hard struggle and having united all known inhabited lands under their mighty divine hand, go to the Cursed Lands - to storm the high citadel of the mysterious Organization, where unimaginable horrors and experiments beyond good and evil are going on.

Spreading their mighty wings, the two immortal goddesses rush to the attack, leading the faithful Hellions and other honest warriors. And it's all set to this music.:p This is what we deserve.:coffee:

Yes, I would like to see the 'Company' in some shape or form, though I doubt we will see much of it. I could be wrong, but there aren't really many people who played Diatima's Isekai, and modern weapons and stuff in a medieval setting may be a turn-off for most people. I agree that implementation is the key. Personally speaking, I think it would be fine if the new starts were just to keep track of how Luna's lands develop and to be used in specific circumstances.

However, the phrase “spending divinity” still sounds pretty ridiculous (for me). "Divinity" is not a glass of beer that you can drink and there will be nothing left...It is either there or it is not there.[/SPOILER]

I read that many centuries have passed since LFFG, but is there an ending that is canonically connected to this game?

I have to say that as always I played it blind and with only one save :ROFLMAO:.

Now I start here and as you can see with my ending in LFFG, Luna should have died naturally.

At the same time, I don't know why, but the medieval setting makes me think that they are in the past and not in the future (yes, I have read about some apocalypse).

It starts slow and I see that it is more simplified than in LFFG where there were many more choices than just dom/sub, the menu looks the same.
So far I've only played until you meet the corrupt king and I like that they kept the memetic sounds from LFFG like the alarm sound or the laughter :LUL:.

It's in the future. In Diatima there is a nuclear war....everything is pretty much gone and civilisation has started again. Hence the medieval setting.

Cannon ending...and it is cannon (as said by the dev)....is Dark Queen Badass Luna (Ending No.1) with Badass Diatima from Diatima's Isekai. Badass Luna is also really the best. No fucks given or taken from the miserable excuses called men. (I also saved the Hellions).

Personally (and this is my take on this, yes I know the Dev supposedly said their is a real ending or whatever but I don't buy it and don't care this is my fantasy world) I consider this like the MCU, and this is an Alternative universe Luna with zero real connections to LFFG or Diameba (I'm not looking up the correct spelling on a game I dislike!).

The character is similar enough where it gives you a feel for the character but not the same character, so it leaves my preferred ending in LFFG intact.

Wild..please don't like be like the resident thread idiot in this thread...

Buy it or don't...the dev has stated it. You want to argue with the actual creator of the story...says much about you. LFFG has a cannon ending, Diatima has a cannon ending and BOTH of those cannon characters are what appear in Reloaded.

You can dislike it all you like...but to argue with facts...well...

That's the point I'm not arguing with you or anyone else this is a Fantasy game. In my Fantasy of this game that is what is happening, you may disagree but that's my choice and I chose to share it with Picker. It wasn't even meant to start a discussion it's just my opinion.

Maybe not post on a forum then ;) Things will always start a discussion, especially if people disagree with said comments.

Nice deflection though.

Seeing that there are numbered endings, I just loaded my save and the one I got is ending number 3.

Right there the dev thanks the players and says that everything will continue in Diatima (I didn't remember that), so I skipped the second game completely :ROFLMAO:. I thought that since the main character was a blonde, they were not related.
