anyone have the save for the PREVIOUS version? i got a new pc and lost my original save and dont wanna start from the top

Basically you should not "waste time" and go for the mayor's office as soon as possible.
Not very intuitive IMHO. Without that hint in the post I linked I would never figured it out (other than by inspecting the code, which is not a very funny task).

I did it a little differently, without rushing too much either. But I did it in this order:
- Go to the beach, talk to the waitress as little as possible and when you pick up the bottle from the sand, choose the option to keep it
- Go to the store, buy the drink (then, since you have two drinks, choose the best one to serve)
- Go to the church with your friend and advance through the part where you meet the young nun, and then accept your friend's idea to go investigate, with this we will discover things about the plot and also the oil for the massage that will come in handy
- Since I had already talked to the girl on the boat before, this location was not marked for me to go to, but going back to the store, there was sushi and I bought it there too
- Go to our house, get the cassette and CDs from your aunt's room and DO NOT hide when you hear her coming
After this, go to the town hall and the "picnic" scene will appear.

I think that keeping the bottle could have a negative impact in the future, so I decided to return it to Hyuna and bought one from the shop, but it's too early to tell for sure.

Does it happen everywhere all along the game or only in some points?
Does the Console open if you press Shift+O ?
If yes, type in the console
h.name and hit Return.In a normal game it should reply you 'Haley'.
I guess in your case it will reply you 'Waitress' (I can't imagine why, though. Did you cheated or tamprered with the code or the console in any way)?
Well... as you may have guessed, all you have to do is giving the command
h.name='Haley' and you should be good to go.

I read that with version 4.2 you had to start over because stats were inserted. And until the scene below, notifications indeed came for the following sections (Perception, Seductive, Good, Evil, Romantic, Courageous). So far there were no major differences, most values were +1. When replaying, I did pay attention to other things. For example, after Roger's death, the main character is awakened at 8 in the morning by Evelyn saying that everyone must be at the town hall by 9 for an announcement from the mayor. But when she goes up the stairs the clock says it is 8 past 10.....

damn it must've been a while since my last play through. I'll say that the sandbox isn't as deep as some other games.5 or 6 updates ago.
