Ren'Py - Lustful Desires [v0.75.1.G] [Hyao]

I'd make this five star, but there is a few issues here and there. What sprites are in the game are pretty hot (with the wererat being my fave), and a good portion of the text is good. The fights don't feel cheap, you always feel like you can succeed and escape is never an issue. I like the multiple scenes dependent on lust and submission, as well as if you're dominant or submissive. The game is filled with so much good stuff that it's hard to find a fault with the concept... The execution however...

Don't get me wrong, as I said, fighting is great, porn great, but some of the coding is chaotic. There's certain scenes in this I'll never see because the trigger is impossible to access unless you use a save editor. It's never clear how or what you're supposed to do (it was 90 days in-game before I even found out there was a bandit camp, let alone a boss fight with it). It feels like the coding is broken in places, even if you follow the guide provided, and it's disappointing to feel like I'm missing out because I didn't do something in a very specific way. Alchemy is also a chore at times as you need to repeat the same recipe a few times, and it doesn't help that you can't just click away, you HAVE to click "abort" to even exit the screen.

But that's it, actually. I'm not always a fan of text-games, many are swing and miss, but this one feels good to play and can be pretty addictive due to the sex scenes (I've played this for hours). I'd recommend it if you have patience. It might have a few issues, but it's some good smut.

Nothing wrong with wanting to make a CoC clone.

But man, does the author need to remove a lot of the clicks!

Hint: we don't need to confirm each time "yes, we do dare stay for the unknown in the forest". The game has a serious need to present more info on each page, so we don't need to click as much.

Very crude at the moment. I honestly can't say I believe the author has the skills to turn this into something enjoyable.

It's early days for this game but it already shows promise, I'm honestly surprised how much sexual content you have access to even now. Most of that content is textual rather than images or animation -though there is some eye candy- it's closer to games like TITS or COC.

I'm not that keen on the art style, it ain't bad just inhumanly exaggerated.

Most of the NPC's are guys and only a few females, but being bisexual that ain't no problem and the gay stuff is decently written

The reputation mechanic is really fun where word of your sluttery gets around and people start propositioning you for raunchy activities, even mini-quests open up.

I look forward to where this game goes in future, hopefully, there will be more variety of races to interact with.

I enjoy the art and mechanics a lot. The game could use a little balancing, but nothing is broken by any means. The main quest line is a good story, but I typically play these games focusing on the art and mechanics.

Solid gameplay, including a workable crafting system (hint, after crafting something 5 times you get the option to auto craft it).

What art is there is good, a definitive plus compared to most similar games that are text only. The writing is the biggest strength with good scenes and description.

Overall worth the time if you like the themes involved here.

A good start, I feel like playing corruption of champions again, but with graphics. The content is still limited and a lot of art is missing, but the game is very young, so it's very understandable.

However the game doesn't have any story line, we only have sidequests of mob hunt or potion making, at least in this version. And sometimes I was just lost in the game, having no idea what should I do to progress in it. So I'll rate this game average.

Worth the try, but still lacks too much things

5/5, this game is mainly about the character fucking a bunch of men , male monsters, male monsters, and the odd slime. So if you are into playing as a woman that fucks every man OR are into M/M (like me) you might wanna pass.

Still ranking 5/5 because there is a lot here currently but I do hope that there more of a focus moving forward (i.e. relationships, story lines concluding e.g. who the fuck is there werewolf?)

The bad things: combat, looting and achemy. Extremelly repetitive and boring. I don´t understand why the devs think that people want to spend 200 hours playing a porn game as if it were The Witcher III or something, but repeating the same tasks again and again.

The good things: art and writing or the events. But the art is extremelly scarce right now (maybe 6 or 8 images), as well as the events. After a while, the player sees the same scenes again, and again, and again while try to avance throughtout the game.

I give 4 stars not because the game deserves now those stars. Right now, it would be maybe 2. But looks a promising game when there will be more art, story and events.
