At the moment though dev is starting with mind control since it is less work and lets him have immediate lewds to show people.
Over time a romance path will be programmed in.

Well there is one person giving consent for now at least. For MC sex is the way of gaining energy, but mind control is spending some. It is a net positive in the end, but getting someone without mind control is by lore more beneficial. As that is a pure positive without spending. However in the current situation he has to gain as much energy as possible as quickly as possible, or the consequences will be very dire. So regardless, if you are a morally good or evil person you have to do it.

Besides violet which is obsessively in love with the mc, and for alice im not sure if she was a side quest on being the mc lover or its actually real and the other girls will find out thru her quest (but lets just say its for thru her and the main quest) but anyways, beside violet, in my opinion it feels like its not really a harem if all we do is take control of the girls and fuck them, unless they will confess there love to the mc without them being posses later in the game but who knows. not saying im impatient i can wait, just these types of games confused me without having a mainquest separete from the girls.

Yeah, this game is kinda backwards in a sense.
The MC can get basically anyone but without their knowledge and it's also pretty obvious that most of (if not all) the younger girls are inexperienced/virgins, so it kinda feels bad to do anything with them while they are being mind controlled.
There is (if I remember right) only one scene without mind or body control and that is the Gloria HJ scene.
Everything else is either mind control, MC using Lily's power or Violet takes over a body.
These scenes kinda happen in a vacuum as it's never really referenced by anyone so it feels kinda meaningless.
Not sure how this game got the harem tag now as it is nowhere near that point.
You have Violet who is clearly in love with the MC and you can kinda 'romance' Alice, but that is also really short lived and ends in a mind control scene, other than that there is no 'romancing' so to speak in this game yet.

one is the difference between the public and the patreon version? (Yea, I know the one is a different version, asking in terms of extras on the patreon one)
The Patreon Version is two versions ahead of the Public Version. As of the latest update, the Patreon Version is v0.6.3, and the Public Version is v0.6.1.
This means more content in the Patreon Version at least to my knowledge...

Thanks, but my question was more in terms of the difference between a public an Patreon edition of the same version. Like is something exclusive for patreons that never got released on the public one?

there is no difference patreons receive the same version a few months prior to the public plebs
You can get the latest content earlier with the Patreon Version...

it appears that they dropped something about 0.6.4 (2 hours ago)
looking at what we got upcoming compare to this (going off only the first part i can actually see since not patron only like first sentence can be seen)
also 0.6.0 seems to have been avaliable to tier 4 and above patreons on 30th of august so like almost 2 months ago....
with them getting acess to 0.6.4 i kinda hope we are not gonna be waiting THAT long for the next updates especialy since we are like 4 versions behind !!
