Just started the game for the first time, and we start off with a pet peeve. In order to not screw everything up, we have to be a total creampuff pushover who lets the innkeeper, among others, just insult and push the around - Stand up to him and "he will remember that". Nope, I do NOT play games where I'm not allowed to have a spine.

The game tries a lot of to paint the MC as some kinda lazy prick who has taken advantage of his father being the Ministry of Magic, but has done very little to portray him as such. It all comes across that the world is against him for something that isn't true, and it comes across as weird since...well, he doesn't seem to be as lazy as the world wants him to be, so they punish him for it.

I think that's supposed to be because the MC is some lazy nepo baby who's in his position cause his dad's the Minister of Magic, but it does a lot of telling us that without much of the game doing anything to show it.

We're told by at least two people that we're lazy and inept, but the MC only immediately proves them wrong every time.

Actually, the Innkeeper remembering that does NOT mean it's a bad thing.

Don't assume the game only tracks your sins.

The recently introduced card-based battle system left me disappointed. I´ll think twice before trying this game again.

Not a fan either, have to beat the end boss in the ice plain with some cards. Not seeing a possibility there.

First time playing this game and I'm stuck on clearing the ice level. I can win every single fight but the last one. This fighting system is way too rng dictated. If you don't get the right cards you are screwed. In a longer fight like the end boss one eventually the cards work against you and there isn't anything you can do. perhaps it's just a balance thing but I've done that fight now at least half a dozen times and it's actually turning me off from wanting to play this game.

I'm just annoyed that the cards you get in the portals don't stick with you, even if you leave naturally. You have to collect the rare cards every time you go through the portal and that just doesn't make any sense.
