I assume it's a different character since this epilogue is supposed to lead into a sequel, and they didn't want to make any of the other routes non-canon. Will probably have a new MC for next game and just leave it open-ended which this one's MC chose (if he's even mentioned next game)

The mc was planned to be a fairy since the polls, and he did state it'd serve as a prequel to Magical Mishaps 2. Dunno if the latter has changed or not since then.
