Friday Progress Update, Apr 04: "Maids & Helping Hands"

It's time. No, you don't understand. I'm not talking about the Friday Progress Update. Although it's time for that too, as evident by the fact that you're reading it. No, I'm talking about the next update. It' TIME. Tomorrow, anyway.
The amazing update chart I did last week now looks thus:
Posing ......... 100%
Rendering ...... 100%
Writing ........ 100%
Proofing ....... 100%
Postwork ....... 100%
Coding ......... 100%
Testplaying .... 100%
Old Gallery .... 5%
Old typos ...... 100%
Yes, that's right. It's done. Except my bane, the old galleries. It's a list of 21 old scenes that I need to code up. And I'm releasing the update tomorrow. In whatever state the gallery is. If the old scenes aren't all done, some will have to wait.
I won't lie, I kind of like putting deadlines for myself, but it's also stressful. I have to get back to work! See you again tomorrow for the release post.
Oh, there is one question.

Is there a reason that the Catalina is given the background of being there when the Mom gets "killed"? Or just to tie her to the Badguy?
There is a reason. I'm trying to write an interesting story for players to enjoy. With some plot twists and drama. I'm also trying to give the girls a background. To make it feel like they lived a life before the MC shows up.
I may be answering this question from the wrong angle. Sorry 'bout that.
