I don't know what to call this creation. It's hard to even classify it as a demo, there's only one scene and a little animation and they called it a game.

That would probably be because its from a Yuri game Jam on itch.io on that ended last month and lasted 2 months. This is basically just a concept of a game, that is playable which is the goal of a game jam.
