I would probably like this game a lot more if this is the case (and it becomes clearer that it is). Right now we kinda get railroaded into paths we might not like, but I am ok w/ that if I knew later on I could choose the path I actually want.

Maybe a bit of both. There are about 10k base renders at the moment, and about 30 lewd scenes in the gallery (although a few of these are different variations of a single scene, so maybe about 25 individual scenes?), so there's a good amount on content, including various options to give you branching paths. Depending on your playing time (I never have a good idea of how long I play for), I'd say you could easily get a good few hours out of this at the moment.
I think that's the point (that you haven't seen them in the same render yet). You're not supposed to know that there are twins. As far as MC is aware, it's just Jessica, but there are various clues that tell you there is a twin, probably the most notable (unless someone thinks there's a clearer clue in-game) is conversation with Nick, where a couple of times he talks about "the good one" and "the evil one" when referring to them.

There was a note from the dev (or someone ITK) previously saying that the gallery is being worked on and will follow in a mini-update/bugfix before too long.
