Maybe you are a super nice guy with pure household. I dunno. I regularly get -3 affection on some girls for reasons I don't really understand lol. Maybe cus I'm corrupting everyone.

I have a different question. The first wife mechanic requires respect 30 on the other wives for them to not drop affection. How do you even reach respect over 20? I don't have a single one that got higher than that.
take them out to fight bandits will raise respect

Maybe I am an idiot but once your house is upgraded and you have proper amenities with staff doesn't affection rise slightly anyway to a middling base and with pool parties isn't that enough for affection erosion which isn't automatic every night? And with actual interaction to raise affection shouldn't that be enough? I never had an issue before where I had to use dinner parties to stop my household's affection from tanking. A pool party 3 to 4 times a week seemed to be enough for erosion and it actually raise affection when very low when first introduced to the household. Also once your economy is stable and the house is upgraded and you have read all the books, I'd do pool parties more often because they can start later than other activities if I recall correctly as well and it skips time nicely. I seem to remember that with high household stats, contentment and so on affection isn't a problem that you need a nightly +5 affection to stave off affection erosion. Seriously what Am I missing? Has the game changed that dramatically?
A lot of people insist on having maxed out affection. Also, just talking to your slaves stops being a viable option as you start reaching 50, or more, slaves. Eventually pool parties and dinners will give more affection in less time.

Personally I'm happy with pool parties and occasionally checking that no one's dropped off unexpectedly, at which point I compliment them.

The chance to gain respect drops dramatically after 20, but if you just keep fighting with them in your team it will eventually go up.

I made an incest patch for the most recent A18b early alpha update. This was my first attempt, and it was kind of a pain in the ass, but I think I got the job done pretty well

The incest seems flawless, and you can even have a threesome with Lovisa and her sister Tori :sneaky:

Although, there may be other stuff I might have overlooked or something, in which case, let me know.

Okay, so I did overlook a few things. Most notably, not being able to take your child to the bathroom (Don't know how I missed that lol). Fixed in new link, enjoy :D

does this work on version: 0.8.4.1b ?

/snip
my approach has always been have one PURE nurse to raise very low affection and happiness.

Make sure my house is upgraded asap with a decent chef and pantry girl with enough maids.

I target advocates to get them to remove demoralization from the household, as demoralization kills affection and happiness.

Never keep malevolent people in the household unless actively removing the trait.

never keep Feminist in the household unless actively removing it or getting them to love you with low willpower which is easier said then done.

Never have three or more combined feminists or malevolent people in the household unless as captives while I remove the other traits from the NPCs.

I tend to disagree about the too many slaves to raise affection comment. I am always working on one NPC to get them to undying with targeted interactions once there they stop dropping. At least that is my understanding.

The above isn't too difficult once you start being able to defeat most enemy groups in the city. and with multiple slaves now you can make quick coin. Couple that with a workshop and you have the income to do all of the above. i never had to spam dinner parties to make the my household stable affection wise and I found the focused approach actually less time consuming and cheaper in the long run because I don't have to worry about constant affection drops.

Then again i get a core party recruited and trained and slowly add to my household vs add people asap. I find if you mass recruit you get problems but if you take a slower approach you get faster growth in the end because you can concentrate on your combat team and key household positions and this creates stable income, influence gain. Coupled with the fact that you don't get instability in the household stats. Also I find that training takes time so mass recruitment tends to not provide the return that a slower approach concentrating on training does, again over the long run. In the beginning mass recruitment can see a big jump in gains but it creates high overhead in terms of expenses and food. And there are so many slaves people don't really train them so they progress so slowly.

take them out to fight bandits will raise respect
In my games i would always keep one slot of my combat party an open slot for a household member to fill, specifically to raise respect when i was just fighting bandits and stuff to acquire slaves either for sale or my fort [I renamed my fort so don't remember the default name], in the city. This I think is another reason my household is stable everyone respects me somewhat.

I realize they spend most of their time missing and not doing much but with proper gear they are safe and if you spent time in the beginning of the game training your combat team they can handle most fights in the city one person down. Training early game pays huge dividends long term, in my opinion.

I would say 99.99% sure that is a hard no. Most tweaks are to a specific html file. So any tweak to allow chances to the game are not compatible with a new version. The link to the file also suggests it is the html file itself that was tweaked so that would be a hard no. HTML games dont seem to have traditional mods that tweak game play but rather are people making direct changes to the code in the html file itself. it is why i often play on old version for a while because i can't be assed to make all the tweaks I did for each new version.

Any update on our children content such as dialogue
Last patch, 0.8.4, updated the nursery creation/children generation. You can now generate points in the nursery when it has children and nannies are assigned, and use those points generated to buy starting stats and traits.
This is more of a roleplay immersion thing for me lol. I want a nice mix of petite, normal, and curvy in the house. If I keep up the glutted for long enough, all of them would go up in size I guess?
Well then, you also have to avoid raising their Strength. Strength is very good at raising weight passively per day.
  • Very Petite Frame at STR 60+, chance to gain +1 weight up to 59kg
  • Petite Frame at STR 70+, chance to gain +1 weight up to 64kg
  • Normal Frame at STR 74+, chance to gain +1 weight up to 69kg
At this point in the game only the MC can get someone pregnant, right?
Should be, yes.
and more boses with the uniq drops to make the fights more rewarding
Yeah. Even unique traits for NPCs for killing certain bosses/completing their questline. Only Aria has one right now. (EDIT: Connor has one too. I forgot :KEK:.)

For now, there are a few bosses in the game with unique loot drops (two miniguns and a unique sword) and even a trait tied to killing one.
How do you even reach respect over 20? I don't have a single one that got higher than that.
It gets easier much later on. For now, you will have to do fights. There is a household-wide NPC passive respect gain to 50 from a trait but it is tied to winning the Dengi invasion personally, and the Dengi invasion is an extremely difficult fight. The boss fight is like fighting a Terror From the Deep, two Feral Charucks, a more glass cannon Mordecai, and a Palace Warmaster at the same time in the same fight.
Training early game pays huge dividends long term, in my opinion.
That is why I put them in the Academy early. Especially back then, before stat gains was capped to mostly 120/130.

Make a couple hundreds of combat with them and you would see with ease respects in the 40-50 range
