Out of curiosity, did neither of you use the patch before I started my cleaning it up process last week? I realize I stirred up a bit of this conversation by trying to fix it for people since the old version would literally cause the game to crash at some points, but your comment at least to me reads like you're saying other versions before mine weren't "carried away" like that. Like that value has existed in the version that had been on the OP apparently for over 3 years now as the file in it was last modified 7/2/2021. In fact the OP has also had their link redirect to a new version by someone else....which also has that same value again. So as far as I can tell, there hasn't been a single I-Patch that hasn't referred to the step stuff at least in a long while. Whether it's the right value or not is something I personally haven't gotten far enough into the game to determine yet, and as I said previously I plan on updating my version to reflect whatever the story itself dictates. Which guessing by the family tree that was made will be Great Aunt as you mentioned previously.
I wasn't talking about you BTW, if you say you didn't set those values I'm more than willing to believe you, I was talking about whomever did.
And sure it probably was in previous versions, I really have no idea, the version you posted just happened to be the one I consciously read.
I often use the I-patch, but not every time, and I believe the original one only referred to Anne, George, Diane, Julie & Miriam, which I probably used unedited for the majority of the updates even as new characters were introduced (and new patches were made). And frankly that's about as detailed as I want it to be, hearing people refer to each other by relation (other than Mom/Dad) is weird to me (even Sis/Bro sounds forced in most situations IMO), the only exception I might make is "Aunt"/Uncle in the context of a prefix to a name (ie. Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Bob).... but maybe that's more a cultural thing.

Stil996 Sorry with your clarifying that I realize I overreacted. I'm sure if I took the time to search, you're probably not even the first person to have commented on that relationship seeming incorrect before I came into this. This has just been a bit frustrating as my first real foray into this stuff as I saw the missing values and figured I was helping the people that have complained about the game breaking due to them being missing. With waking up to see that not only was there a different new version on the OP that kind of negated my work (which the new one is still missing a couple values but I pointed that out in the mod's thread as well as giving my current version) but also seeing another comment that could be misinterpreted as being about me I was a bit more irked than I probably should've been. Like I'm still going to keep working on getting mine to be as representative as possible.
Also I typically agree with the last part, at least from the bit of the game I've played through so far I think some of the depth of this one makes a bit more sense as they've already made multiple statements that nearly everyone is related in that town, which will be true regardless if you have the patch applied. So most of the inner workings of their family tree is stated regardless. The relationship.rpy is then primarly setting the MC state into the web that is their family tree and how they relate to it. So while yeah normally it's odd to have the more ancillary relationships stated, I think it'd be moreso to have it basically say at one point "this person is my Grandpa's sisters child." and then later say that make her their "acquaintance".

Stopped playing pretty early because i think there are some timeline processes, which cause too much confusion:
MC arrived at Grandmas House, down to his room, some explanation and i send him to sleep.
Next/first morning:
Up to the kitchen (because you have to ask grandma about a job)
But... there is a woman (forgot the name), kissing MC and telling grandma they are a couple now.
So... what? Why? Who?
You see what the problem is?
And that early in the game, this isnt something i want to find out by myself by starting over and over... so i'll leave it like that.

wow!! sounds like the game skipped a big slice of content (about 5 scenes)... Are you cheating? most scenes are dictated by the girls stats, what they do and where they spawn can change quite drastically depending on their affection/corruption

uhm when it comes to choose the behavior of Vanessa , it seems to me that the Thing that goes with the choice are mixed up..i mean shouldn't be that if you take control, you will get more money (and not less) and she should be the one helping the MC in the future and not the other way around?and same should go for the constant loss of love points if you don't visit her daily, if Mc is in control should be again the other way around to me.

The "Choice" is whether to be a "Man" or a "Boy", if you are a "Man" you are the provider, you take care of your woman and all her needs... A real "Man" doesn't need handouts!.

Ok. Finally up to date on all content, and my version of the I-patch is now updated to have all values matched up with other relationships as defined in the game. All the "step" values have been replaced with their contextually correct ones. As before, this covers the main game and all optional content as well.

I like this game but I kinda annoying to see the MC can't be a man for a while, there a scene with Hanna, Dorothy, and Vanessa arguing each other and the MC just looking at them can't make statement or stop the arguing and when they ask the MC he just stutter. Not only that scene but every scene or story the MC just stuttered can't be a man. But I like the game and the scene even the MC kinda annoying to see

When it comes to the story I hope that Digibang makes it worth peoples while. The build up is setting the stage for some really bad stuff happening. You got George getting closer to crashing out, Carmilla playing her own little game and there is the incident that Diana is too livid to talk about four years prior.
It also does set things up for Simon to step up and get shit done prove that he got it in him to foil whatever conspiracy that's in Milfcreek, because he's a smart guy but thinks way too much with his dick. We are more or less beginning to see end of the game as there are ending menus for each girl that are currently empty. It could go well or not but since Digibang is barely updating the game it's likely gonna be a 1 or 2 before the game is over and done.
Honest the game has something going story wise but much it hinges on the mystery aspect because if there isn't a good conclusion then it's gonna hurt the game.
