Been playing this game for years and we finally get told of a major update coming and then ICSTOR pulls this "I'm stepping away for a little while for my health crap." WTF ever. Cut the BS dude. Just admit that your a scam artist and give the game up to someone who would want to finish it.

I concur. If people cannot differentiate between developers with genuine mentality and scam project even after so many years of fraud excuses then they are just dumb. They are also the real reason why such scam developers could prosper in life, while genuine people trying to develop a game struggle and fail due to lack of trust factor / credibility.

I know that many of you really like the characters I have created. I promise that I’ll finish every single one’s story, but to do that we need to change a little how the game is made. For example no more character polls. I’ll create updates for characters that I’m in the mood for writing about. This should help me avoid getting burned out again.
The second change that we’re probably going to implement is changing relationship points to percentage points. (0-100%) This will allow me to work on more characters, as well as adding content to other characters without needing to make massive updates for them. This will hopefully make a lot of people happy – your favourite character that was always skipped now has a much greater chance to receive content.

Well, you know. His goal is to earn money first and foremost. It doesn't even require him to care about this place specifically really. Its a sound logic to keep up with the communication in some form. Its not just his project that proves that if you keep up the communication you can get by without any contet for virtually any amount of time really.I wouldn't put it past him

This much I understand; as much as I may not appreciate the way he goes about generating money.
But ~6K people believing every word that spills from his mouth is kind of cathartic. And not in a good way.

Most other such project don't have a history. He built up today's numbers with past projects. He created games, he covered up their rushed/unfinished state with finalizing patches and now uses his previous titles as certificates. Guarantees. People are much less inclined to believe a content creator who doesn't have a past.
Icstor seemingly has a respectable past. People are much likely to fall into its trap. That hey, he will surely keep continuing, he did that with all those previous games! How many such posts were made over this thread?
Its an effective method. But he basically lives of his past, which past is somewhat of a lie as well but history is written by the victors. His version of his own history is that he totally completed those games. Those who joined later? How they suppose to know this isn't exactly true. Why they should believe to any of those who are saying it isn't true.
Like it or not Icstor is either talented or skilled or just simply cunning enough to know how to do this. The meantime, his content is still content. We still liked to play his content. Its just so annoying that he is unable/unwilling to finish what he started.
He is like a sentient orgasm denial. He ruins it all the time.
