I think it's a matter of taste, not everyone likes black and white, so I understand if these works are not appreciated, I need them to experiment, personally I find black and white fascinating, but I understand if they don't like them ... if I exaggerate, ask and I stop 
Nice. This generally looks much better overall, I personally have a strong dislike to grayscale photography, I find it reductive rather than artistic. Not a fan of blur either, but that's mostly because it has a tendency to slow games down so I kinda developed a knee-jerk reaction
