Can't wait 3 more years for the all game to funally be transalted so I could understand what is going on.

I suggest to just grab the latest "bob mtl" version, I've played and finished the game; got every character and currently playing the postgame dungeon in it's unfinished form. The game is entirely playable, and without the usual MTL issues, only some names and pronoms are mistaken, but it's easy to know when it happens.
Play it, it was great.

To be fair, it depends both on how impatient you are for the game, and if you got other stuff to also play in the meanwhile.
You could play right now, with minimal intelectual effort you can understand basically everything from BobMTL. However, you'll miss 1-2 stuff from the latest updates (that is not translated even in BobMTL as of yet), and also the final update planned that will add the final NG++ stuff and the LoC up to Part 3 standards.

When it comes to MTLs I think it's a safe bet to always remain on the more cautious side. For people who really like this game and have no qualms with waiting, I think they don't want to have their experience dampened in some way. While translation are getting better, even extensive proof reading makess it comprehensible, but not fully in line with the original message, japanese is a very weird language afterall.

It's not going to happen before the game is translated by human hand so pick the mtl and enjoy the game. Or wait 1 year.

Reading the thread made me more confused as to which version I should take as a first time player (didn't even play the prequel). What version is on the first page? Is there a everything human translated + the rest in MTL version and if so could a kind soul point it to me?

Main page is old version of the last part of the game without english translation. With it you can play part 1 and 2 in english, but part 3 that is as big as the 2 other part combined is not in english.
You can grab the mtl version that contain part 1-2 in full human english (minus some minor combat dialogues) and part 3 with machine translation corrected by human hands (that's what most people used to play the end of the game)

So I tried that version but there seem to be some cheats built in? Like the relationships were at crazy numbers and even after I wiped the save there is clearly a cheat where I seem to always recruit a new monster first try. is there a way to turn that off? along with any other cheating that might be in that version?
Edit: Reread the post and now I know that the patch folder is the mods. The new question is aside from Recruit probably being the thing that always gets me the new girls what else do the mods do?
Is there any way on the bob version to delete all the save data so that White Rabbit can still appear in the ending?

But if you don't want to read that for whatever reason here's what's included in the folder from good ol' bobby:
TLDR; quality of life features with the only real thing that's considered a cheat being recruit and increased item limit
Patch 1: If you plan to keep the mods DO NOT Delete as without it most mods don't work. it's essentially the Main one that makes all of this possible
IncreasedItemLimit: Max items per slot goes from 99 to 999
AllTalk: Essentially triggers Party exclusive dialogue that's usually exclusive to having said members in your party without needing them in your party (cute reactions comes from this both storywise and Pocket Castlewise)
GiftaffectionViewer: I assume it shows the values of food items when gifted to certain companions so how it works is if I give say
Gabriela an apple she would gain 3 affection which is normal so what the patch does is tells you that the apple adds 3 affection to her on the gift menu after giving her an apple for the first time as a reminder of how many points does each item gives so you're not say wasting food on the doll girls who don't eat food and will give 0 affection as a consequence (They usually take skulls and lOC food items).
UItranslations: does what it says though idk to what extent. I assume it allows everything to fit into the textbox without doing the bad rpgm translation staple of words trailing offscreen.

NGL starting to feel like skipping the collab scenario should be an option. Playing it once was aight but now that I wanna replay from the start, the only thing i can think about is how much I don't give a fuck about these characters I won't see for the rest of the plot.
Edit: I know that you get specific jobs and race changes after the fact, but fuck that. It feels like all the momentum of going to hellgondo and picking a route gets put on hold for some subplot about "saving the world", which makes no sense if you're on a mission to save "all the worlds"

True but that means you have to go the entirety of both alice and ilias routes without acess to Demonoid, Fencer, Esper, Shield Knight or sorcerer. Those jobs are really important if you want to build your own unique team past their default potential, especially luka.
