Edit: bad idea cuz mediaplayers has no one-click realization for switch videotracks.

Simple solution - isolate the x-ray in each frame, extract the x-ray from each frame as a png, then put the frames into .ass subs. Now you have the x-ray as subtitles you can switch on and off as you please

I highly doubt there is a market to make it worth the trouble to create something else then a mp4 file where you can switch x-ray on and off on demand.
With or without. That covers 99% of all users

A player capable of switching between video tracks isn't that hard to find, actually.
mpv, vlc and mpc-hc all can do that

+ no quality loss
- subtitles weigh several times more than the video
- it takes quite a while to pack all those individual frames
the final weight of the product scared me
