In a permanent state of coma. It awakens only to get some more money, before falling again. At this point is more corpse than comatose, but technically still alive. IIRC, it gets like one minor update once or twice a year. I know that's exactly what happens with their other game, Erahunter. There are better games of this genre which are actually completed, or at least being actively worked on, instead of "just when the money fountain is starting to dry".

So what Aki said, but with more snark directed at the developers. Maybe.

Then none. And even with that, I'd seriously consider deciding that they deliver better than the EraHunter team, to be honest. At least they don't fleece people with that, just predatory monetization with the other kind of games they do deliver.

That's the point. No big investor would ever give their money to fund something like this game for all sorts of reasons. That's why we have Patreon, which many people seem to treat like a digital store (and it's not a store, obviously).

You are missing the point. I'm calling the EraHunter team on this, not the developers that use Patreon not to fleece their patreons, but to actually be able to create their games. EraHunter add one short quest, maybe two, PER YEAR.

That's not true. How about Bryn's Adventure? Or Naked Order? Both of them better and more finished games. Naked Order is actually finished, and Bryn's Adventure has more content than this one, and much more consistent updates (and it's almost finished, pending updates beyond the 1.0). So no, it's not the only one of its kind (in fact, this one was inspired by Naked Order) and it's not the best. I'll give it to EraHunter and to you, Bryn's Adventure uses AI art, but besides that, it is a more complete game. In barely more than a year, versus the FIVE years Naked Adventure has been in development.

I could actually look for more games of this kind (those aren't, either, the only ones, just the ones I can name from the tip of my tongue), but I'm not as invested in this genre as I was, to be honest. As I said some time ago (I think the last time I answered in this thread), I'm here to munch popcorn and enjoy the show because of the drama EraHunter makes with their "update" schedule, if you can call it schedule. I WAS interested, long time ago, but not anymore.
