Just to be clear I was never arguing that any of you had to agree with me. The conversation started because you guys quoted me asking me what I thought. I'm not really sure how the earlier conversation started.
It actually started by me saying that all fights sucked for a long time unfortunaly (and how some earlier fights were better/good) and listing the reasons why they sucked. And me listing overconfidence as a reason why the diana fight sucked and you objected.

I would change that point now to: the fight sucked because it was against a LI and never meant to be an all out because he wasnt meant to really hurt her anyway, additionally i would add it sucked because he was struggling way too much in this fight (which isnt always bad tho)

So i guess our discussion led to ... something

By the way whats way stranger is how FUCKING OUT OF NOWHERE Diana's strenght is no matter if shes stronger or not than our MC at the moment :ROFLMAO:

I mean like ... what?! Why is someone with her strenght on a fucking ship in bumfuck nowhere pirate fuckhole in the first place in times like these? Yeah i know about her backstory but

1) pirate bumfuck lord isnt even there and

2) the fucking kings rule is UBER SHAKY at the moment

Why is the woman who could easily solo the whole kings castle doing shit like that far away in a time like this?!

Orrrr has the king lots of compareable fighters? If thats the case ... why would the MC be the bodyguard of the princess in the first place and nobody but dalen & clowns able to find the princess when she got captured?

It didnt seemed like the king is surrounded by capable, smart or even somewhat useful people.

Admiral surely is a somewhat important position but ... really?

I think the more important question is why is Looter Bay all of sudden so important when the Kingdom can be invaded any minute by his enemies and don't forget the backstabbing nobles

I mean ... wasnt that kinda my question? :ROFLMAO:

Looters bay seems to be like three buildings and was led by a retard named brenda, i feel like even some drunk in the captial would be worthy of more attention :ROFLMAO:

ah my bad misread you post thought you were mostly talking about Diana while my question was more or less about the Location it's self / mission ( Looters Bay)

Yeah honestly 1 or 2 ships with anyone would be more than enough to handle Looters Bay seeing how easily Brenda lost to the pirate twins. Just don't let pix go there he will help her

I mean yeah surely but its her strenght which makes it even more confusing.

It would be reasonable to assume that the king wants her close to the capital or maybe do something against the uprising nobles/prevent a rebellion whatever instead of shipping around a island with 2 building and a moron in charge

even more as everyone else shown working for the king was either entirely useless or a traitor

What if Pixillin' gets the chance to sacrifice Kira, Pearl, Luna, Diana, Alice (and the others), and they are the crucial pieces he needs to defeat the BBEG in the final battle. Without their magic, battle strategy, potions, etc to assist, Pix and Eliza lose and die.
It would almost be worth it even though the only ones I want to kill are Kira and Pearl. The others I just don’t care about at all.

is it bad bad I want this to just so Eliza dies on Pix's save for him killing off people without the name Eliza.

PS: someone should make a mod that renames every girl to Eliza just to troll pix
I mean, I’m not going to say “don’t” but I wouldn’t install it so it might be a lot of work for not much reward.

To be fair, Diana's jurisdiction is the water, so if most of the immediate threats to the king's rule would attack by land, back at the castle she'd just be a fish out of water :sneaky:

True, tbh, she caught my eye too, and very interested to get to know her.
Normally, I have a soft spot for blondes (or brunettes or redheads for that matter) who try to kill me. It shows that they are a good judge of character. However, I've spent too much time batting away swarms of lis at this point to seriously consider anyone but Eliza. At this point every new one just makes them all more annoying.

He identifyed previos as member of the court, like Diana, that is why he hold back, before all this adventure he had a convo with the King where the King tells him that he send his best Admiral against Pirate Bay.
That wasn't really my point... While he identified as the princess' bodyguard, Diana didn't believe him. They fought, but for some reason, Diana's crew put them in the same bed and didn't even restrict him. The only way this makes sense, is for Diana's crew to have recognized that he wasn't fighting to kill, which made them believe his story.

The king does mention that it's an important trade port. I think it's also situated between the kingdom & the elven continent, their most trusted allies?
Another benefit to taking out the pirates, is that other factions can't use them against the kingdom.

Honestly, I kinda feel the same way.

Kira's tsundere-act didn't appeal to me at all, so I kept things platonic with her. Then the MC makes a huge deal about trusting her with his origins out of fear for her safety, but then tells Kelly immediately with an "oh well, I might as well tell you."

Pearl's shift in personality made no sense to me. Suddenly she's playful and going on about "fishys" and wanting to leisurely relax and swim on the island they just shipwrecked at after being attacked. Did I miss where she hit her head?
The MC wakes up after eating the poisonous berries, but even after learning about its effects, he doesn't wonder if Pearl will be OK. He even remarks that his poison resistance helped, but doesn't even consider that Pearl doesn't have this trait. For all he knows, she's wandering the island in a delirious state.

If the goal is to get me, the reader, to care for these people, then it'd be great if they were likeable, and the MC worried about them. These past few chapters, it feels as if every new LI became interchangeable. They're all very whimsical, want to compete with the MC on some level, and joke around. It also strikes me that the bigger their tits are, the least character development they actually get.

Even that doesn't make sense since the crew needed Kira and Pearl to remind them to save their own admiral.

IMHO, the actual answer is simply bad writing. Diana was supposed to fight the MC then join the harem because he's just so dreamy. Waking up in bed and having the MC heal her facilitates her arc, so that's what happens.
