I always let them do that, I was just surprised that someone leak it and people complaining it locked by a patreon lock. It silly as the dev always release it quickly and we don't even need to wait like with other VN that takes months.
why are so many people complaining about it being locked behind patreon login? a hacked version got leaked a few page back.
This is month 3 or 4 of hoping normal non-sped-up text speed can be brought back down to how it used to be. On my android device it currently pops about 1 message every second, sometimes more than one per second. It's just too fast, and having to pause and resume and then pause again for every message is just too tedious and immersion ruining. Game's still great otherwise, looking forward to the proper release next week.

Have you turned OFF the "improved network quality" under settings?
With it turned off I think it's pretty much the same as it always used to be

I did check this right when the update first came out. That setting has always been off for me. Toggling it on and off it not fix my issue. Normal non-sped-up messages still come in about once every second or faster regardless of the length of the message. The cadence feels 'normal', it isn't fast-forwarded or anything. The delay just feels super low.
It has been like this since the message speeds were tweaked a few months ago. It endured the full save wipe required by one of the updates that was released after. I've seen a handful of others voicing the same issue and some have proposed fixes including replacing files, but those sorts of solutions aren't applicable on Android. I may just be out of luck for this.
I do appreciate your attempt to help though.

It 's entirely the fault of those who leaked the game on the first day or even a minute .
It's not entirely leakers fault.
This is after all a piracy forum. Stolen content is kind of expected.
People complaining about locked content have some merit - they were expecting working upload. Of Course, they also just could do their own minimal effort and used the search function to check if anyone managed to fix this problem earlier.

Try to start a new game through the chapter selection (just click on the first chapter), then after starting, if it worked, you will receive new messages and then just load your save. It should work.

So the lack of creampie was a bummer as usual, but less since it wasn't about one of her usual bull. Mike was well treated and the bar part was fun. Still hoping for 0.20 to have some creampie but at this point I have to admit I'm sniffing copium xD (I don't mind if it happen in a few more update truly, but the more I wait the more I expect it to be worth the wait though...)

It's not the first time something like this happened. It's been a few instances where we mention we don't mind/like this and for Laura to considere it, later. At the top of my head at least once with Oliver for sure, maybe twice, at least once with Nathan too.
It's probably soonish now, but it could be soon as in 0.20 or in soon as in 0.25... It's basically been hinted just a little under once per update for several update now. It's more of a waiting game than anything.
Yeah, that is also an option.
Now if only upload was in any way marked as unofficial/locked, and not just replaced in the first post.
I know I didn't verify upload, and had o revert to previous backup and wait for official version.
