hey guys today I’d like to give some update to my project
first of all I’ve decided to expand the story and make a part two for the game
I will keep the plan of the current game as it is but rename it as part one
And it will serve as kind of a prologue for the game
This way I could get one game out sooner and get feedbacks for it from more people
part two will be similar to part one in its structure and will be using the same assets and tech
but with more characters and plotlines
so for the part two
current idea is to expand the story to center around maybe 5 major characters
base storyline will be a sort of power struggle within the family
so Mr. Chairman will be disgraced following the conclusion of the first game
and he will lose his seat of power on the company board (so no longer "chairman" for him)
now he and his ally will need to track down the thief and the ruby
while fight their way to regain power in the company
and in the process sparkled a serie of steamy encounters between the characters
planned part two characters for now:
Max (Mr. Chairman)
Our guy from part one
Recently lost his seat as chairman, but still have lots influences on the company
He now seeks to install a puppet as the next chairman so he can still remain in power
Elsa (The thief)
Our girl from part one, who stole the ruby while disguised as a maid
Now she is on the run with her loot
She needs to stay low and avoid capture
Lucy
New girl for part two
She is very young and kind of naïve
Max’s trusty assistant
Jeff
Max’s younger cousin and rival on the company board
He seeks to compete for the seat of chairman following Max’s fall from grace
Zack
Local gangster and Max’s henchman and enforcer
He handles the shady side of the business for Max
He is now tasked to track down Elsa the thief
Right now I only have a rough outline for part two’s story
I will work on it whenever I have some fresh idea for it
With more characters and locations the part two will be much bigger in its production
But should still remain reasonably sized so it doesn’t get out of hand
As for update for part one
Recently I spent a bit of time on the girl’s hair
When I first doing this project I wanted to keep it small and simple
So I chose rather simply hair styles for my characters
Our guy Mr. Chairman has simple short hair and our girl Elsa has a high bun hairstyle
I think it looks good with the maid outfit and both hairstyles basically requires zero maintenance
But now that I’ve decided to do a part two with more characters
I can’t really just keep using super simple hairstyles and expect to get away with it
So I think I might as well start working on it right now
After some digging and testing
I put together a simple workflow that allows me to generate new hairstyles
And also able to manually pose and animate the hair on a per-shot basis
I made a second hairstyle for Elsa and done some renders
The idea is that after Mr. Chairman started taking Elsa’s clothes off in the second half of the game
He would also take off Elsa’s hairband and let her long hair down
This way our girl wouldn’t be stuck with just one look
But also has some variances to her look across different shots
