when i got that i assumed it was a bug or something because i tried to see the tutorial again or something an i could not reequip the ability for that moment so i just let her be defeated, you can try starting again or loading before that conversation, its bugged asf the combat due to its "uniqueness"
Save game before talking with the boyfriend, backup your English "CommonEvents" file, replace the "CommonEvents" file from the original Chinese version (someone already upload Chinese version in previous pages, you can download from there), load and talk with the boyfriend, though the icon is crossed but the skill equipped and you can use it by press S key. You can play until clear the prologue, the text still in English. After clear the prologue, replace your English "CommonEvents" file and play from start, select "go to chapter 1".
Also keep the original Chinese "CommonEvents" file in case some bug occur again.

It just loads me into small debug room with some info about new UI. And nothing else...
UPD: after some testing with save transfering and mtool map teleportations, I made a conclusion: you can't play v.482

Well, I said it on the earlier post that v482 is just an update on ui. That's all there is, that's why I'm hesitant to post it. But since they still want it so I post it ahaha.

latest update from patreon. Prologue Version
Hello everyone!
There have been some issues with the progress updates this month:
During the New Year holiday, my mother developed pneumonia, and her cough became very severe.
Since she is in the late stages of colon cancer, she needed to be monitored in the ICU.
Fortunately, her condition has improved now.
I have basically been at the hospital taking care of her this month, and it hasn’t been a suitable environment for me to work.
This has resulted in a significant delay in the development progress for this month.
Tomorrow, I will return home to update the prologue demo that I completed at the beginning of the month. I will update the remaining content next month.
I hope everything is well.

for now, the content is only for the prologue but with better UI. so basically the creator recreated the game with a new UI instead of using the old one. i believe we will get more content on the next content maybe up to the lastest version story before the prologue
if you mean when you are out of the dungeon and the 2 classmates are in the middle of the corridor and you cannot move forward the only solution is to go to new game and chose to start over again from the latest point, if you mean the new prologue or the tester prologue then the content is very limited and there is no more for now
im refering to the Try to defend crap where i instantly fail the moment my screen loads
i think it was a bug that was mentioned a few pages back, sorry i cant be of more help
