how do i watch the video in passthrough? On the deo vr app i click passthrough but the green background is still their

Not sure about DeoVR. I use Heresphere, Chroma Mask and then select the green color. Also Heresphere native version (so no SteamVR which afaik doesn't support Passthrough that way)
Anyone got the passthrough VR vids? The older links in the thread are dead

What's wrong with the .mp4 files? They won't open nor with steam media launcher, nor with DeoVR... Seems like SBS is something bad, whatever this is.

SBS is telling the VR viewer how to project the video; in this case; Side-by-Side. Is there an issue with the files being corrupted during the download? If so, redownload them. If it isn't the case; you might need a certain codec such as h265, which is available on github or if you are up to it, you can pay $1 on the microsoft store for it.
Edit: Also, the new Steam VR Player doesn't work right now to my testing.
