Seems to be normal for this dev. Judging from their older post it looks like they alternate between doing a few posts in a row and then going silent for 3-4 months before the next update. I don't expect the next update to come out before march or even april.

No? At least I don't think so. Also, this relaunch did make a lot of things better. Game actually stopped crashing every 7 minutes for me. Each update brings actual progress. It doesn't seem like a case of a greedy dev. More like overly ambitious one.

Unless I am mistaken, dev is late on his release and we never did get the release v0.2a that was posted on December 26 (unless the versions numbers got mixed up)
Dev is pretty good at underestimating how much work they have to go before a release is ready, in fact not too terribly long ago they posted on Discord saying that the current update was going to take longer than they originally thought, but they were optimistic that it would be done within the month. Haven't checked in the last couple weeks, but I imagine that they just underestimated it again.
As for v0.2a, I'm pretty sure that was more or less just a test stage for the combat or something, not an actual update. They release test stages for their higher-tier donators to play around with while they work on the updates that actually implement those features. The version number makes it a little more confusing than it probably needs to be, but I'm fairly sure that's what that particular "release" was.

Hi, i know this is kinda late and that but i want to know if someone can help me, im trying to play normally i know the game have some issues and that but i wanna know how can i exit the enemy or allies base, because i get into a portal and now the chief want me to make friends for everyone and that, but i dont know how can i do the quest if i cant go to my base, if anyone knows, thank you for read.

Just skip time and sleep at the inn, it will appear the next day (or after 2 or so, after first day, just keep sleeping and checking). The game says you have to wait a week, but it's actually shorter
