most likely the later one
If it's true, then I hope their business crash and burn in hell. It's already bad enough for the upcoming "westernization" of this game, it's another thing entirely if they tried to scam another developer like they did with this game. There's huge amount of godly h-game produced, and only miniscule amount of it is available in the west. The last thing we need is vile publisher that makes JP devs traumatized to sell their game here.

a bit stupid question but is sharing and group sex avoidable? can we be the only one to take her or is it mandatory to progress the game?

I downloaded the game and then scaned the file with Microsoft Defender, Malwarebytes and Virustotal. First two said it was okay, and Virustotal said it has a virus (jiangmin Trojan.Cobalt.awn).
Is this a case of false positive? I tried with different links and it was the same. This only happened with the 4.2.2 version, tried the 3.3.3 version and was totally fine.

Did you download it from here? If yes that's totally false positive. I played 4.2.2c from here and it's clean.

Yeah I first tried here, and then from different pages, always the same virus. I supposed it was a false positive, but I had really bad experiences with virueses so...
Thanks!
If you are really worried with virus and such and you actually have a powerful device you can try to deep dive in the world of Virtual Machines (VM). If anything bad happens you just need to delete the VM along side whatever problem we are talking about and just create a new one right after, without risking damage to your main OS because the issue will be contained to that specific VM ecosystem (just don't login to any important accounts or share any private information and you should be fine for most cases).

My PC is decent but I don't think is powerful enough to do that, besides I'm like a caveman when it comes to this kind of things. Also, didn't know you can do something like that, sounds interesting to try in the future.
