Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'width' of null
Played on website, downloaded it from here, tried paying on a different laptop, reinstalled several times, played through the beginning multiple times in different ways to the point you go back through the portal in the beginning. Without fail the game gives this error after rejecting the guy who offers something during the cut scene and corruption seems to slip into the negative slightly. Game just destined to be broken for me? Something I can edit to avoid stupid game breaking errors that make no sense?

I strongly recommend using a save editor to bump the characters up. The grind is unbearable otherwise.
Apparently it's only due to bugs that you can even get past level 40 so my advice is to git gud. Or cheat, that works too.
There's no such thing as "git gud" when it comes to a turn-based, pure numbers RPG. You can select all the right options but if you can't heal more than the enemy does damage and you can't whittle down their HP pool before they do more damage than your party has HP then you lose. Moreover, no amount of "git good" is going to make 250+ hours of grinding tolerable to anything but a complete masochist.
Understand, this is an early release incomplete game and it seems pretty obvious that the author has not balanced it properly yet. I would be completely shocked if these issues and others weren't addressed over the course of the remaining development prior to the full release of the game. Until then what we're playing now is a work in progress.
What part of "you can select all the right options but...." if the math doesn't line up there's fuckall you can do you not understand? It's not like an action based game where you can utilize skill to overcome odds, if the numbers and the RNG say you lose you fucking lose.
You haven't played many action games if you've never encountered their own flavors of "nothing I could do" bullshit.
Also 250+ hour grind? I didn't even break 3 digits on this game, even though I got up and left it running at least once, and I am not a speedrunner in anything. Between this and actually needing a hint for the grim kid's fairy cave "puzzle" I think you're just mad the game didn't stroke your ego or hold your hand.
The part where it directly contradicts your first sentence:
If there's no gud to git then there are no "all the right options" to select.

Hint my ass, the item literally would not show up until I modified the file to work around a bug that prevented it from appearing.
But whatever, you're clearly trolling at this point. By all means, keep pretending there's nothing whatsoever wrong with a literally incomplete game in a pre-release state and still under active development. I'm sure the developer would be interested to know the work they're doing to finish and polish the game is unnecessary and the only problem is I personally just need to "git gud".
No, but you're clearly only interested in hearing things you can easily dismiss to protect your ego, like "there's nothing wrong with the game", rather than what I actually said.
Possible bugfix issue: When playing the game, the game randomly closes the entire game. I wouldn't mind seeing an autosave feature, or else fixing the random game closing bug.

I think you mean west, not northeast. You don't need the rope. You need to push a log from a cliff into a hole in the east.

How do i use save editor in this game what do i buff(sorry if i sound dumb but i am new to the whole thing)
Experience, and money to buy equipment and consumables I guess. I don't think the job/archetype points are editable by standard save editors since a plugin adds them. Of course you can always decrypt and then edit an MV save file by hand if you know how, but it sounds like you don't.

Well i said fuck it and learned to use the cheat menu and doubt anyone will play this game without a cheat menu while keeping their sanity, this grind is horrible and not worth it for how little the cg there is. The story while being pretty good/decent cannot carry this game alone. I believe the gallery is done and there wont be more scenes, so yeah just use a cheat menu cuz using the save editor is hard for this game
