VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Once in a Lifetime [v1.0] [Caribdis]

Personnal opinion but sometimes, char dev seemed a bit rushed or idk how to put it, but wasn't as flawless as i expected.
And felt the relation ship with Carla needed a bit more polishing or depth.

That's why i don't put 5 stars, cause animation were REALLY great even if not a fan of some tongue management.

PLAY FOR STORY

Story and Dialogues are god tier without a doubt atleast for a porn game. But I think it lacks somewhat in terms of characterisation and sex scenes. Not enough scenes for a honey select game imo. It's like 2 or 3 real sex scenes for a character which is low gain for me as it being a Honeyselect game. Still it's completed and that's a huge pros for me. Thank you dev. Looking forward to your next game.

Really good and fun game . Not too short, maybe some 9 hours of play time. Has some really good plot and the chars are fun to play. Also the jokes in this game are the best part, so funny, and sometimes you just start lauthing without any text just camera and sound effects.
For me its not an 5/5 because of the girls jsut accepting too easy the cheating of the mc, there is no conflict when they found out.
Resuming its a fun and light game with no harsh feeling if you fuck things up.

Perfect game. Not like many game i played, this game is not just for masterbate, Hscens r good but the story is a masterpiece. After 5 mins, i had to replay and did not skip even 1 line in scrip. All the girl in this game have their own soul, not just some sexdoll. Love this game so much.

I just wrote a review like 1-2 times but this time I feel like this game deserves it, the game is one of the funniest I EVER PLAYED (maybe even N1) I laughed so much on all the parts that my lungs started to hurt.
The girls are nice (could have been more variety like Carla style with big breasts but that's ok)
The story starts normal and I was thinking "this will be a common game" but then it turned 180 and went in a (kinda) serious approach that I liked,
The animations are really great and I can't wait to see more of this dev, great work and it really deserves all the credit! (Stabby Mike is the GOAT)

So the story is fine, it has its very good moments (and its one of the few games that lands jokes without being cringey) but sometimes the story drops into just a buncha coincidences, which I mean, porn games are full of those, but I had my bar higher for this one.

The girls look good but I wish we had more variety. I gotta say, kudos for making the mom look unique, and I dunno why the teacher looks different from the rest, but she looks amazing. The others are alright, i like the sisters but can feel samey at times.

My biggest problem was how easy it was to miss the routes imo, ended up having to replay it with a guide because I ended up with only 2 routes by the end. I was clueless by the lack of sex but it seems I didnt tick the correct box once or twice so i was fucked and there was no way of getting back into route.

One of the best that I have played. Not just great, but a complete coherent story that draws you in and keeps you entertained. Just the right amount of drama while keeping you laughing so as to not overwhelm. Great scenes as well with many lovable girls too. And a satisfying ending. 10/10

One little jewel, im so happy to have played it. I normally no buy the games because they are generic and not too much things change but with this one is different; the game is really, really I mean Fantastic. First Review and I just get that I need a message of 200 word this game is worth to me to take the time to make this, Judie Best Girl haha. I also did something like leave a pregnant woman I feel bad for that haha. But is a excellent game with Great characters and mike omg what a nice guy hah I’m looking forward for their new games. I also knew about a harem end I have to look how to get that, but the end with Judie was great and I Love it. I was just expecting for something as click to fuck , and then after some pick get bored and then change to other game, but this game never bored me, and always puts me hard. There just a few games that I can get and played and make me excited and this one is one of them I really love the game, Thanks for sharing.

Didn't know what to expect from this game, but loved it from start to finish. The story was really enjoyable, The scenes were well animated, and overall this game had me excited every time I came back to continue the story.

One of the Best porn game i have played. A* writting A* cast A* scenes A* in everything basically. Choices the we make matters for once in these type of games. the cast have actual characters and not just some random lifeless fuck puppet for the MC. a must play for porn game connoisseur

- story: 5/5. every H-scene is perfectly connected, not just random talk and f*ck. the main story is really awesome too. you don't want to miss it
- animation: 5/5 very smooth. you can even change views.
- gameplay: 5/5 fun gameplay. not too long nor too short. I've spent my all night to finish this game. not regret anything

THIS GAME WAS AMAZING

TLDR, this is maybe one of the best game that's not a freeroam but has a quite good plot.

Pretty much it has a lot of choices, some could even cut the path of one girl to the other, it has a lot of ending, and MY GOD the comedy are on point cus i haven't laugh that much because of a good porn game before.

The maker of this game has a good sense of humor, the porn animation is good and well animated, and some horror part was really spooky yet intriguing. A lot of plot twist are barely noticable and if you don't use the walkthrough mod maybe you'll get so many wrong decision (props to the people who made that mod).

There's only one problem though that many maker has a lot of problem with, they really can't make a good young male faces, some of their faces are really towards the comedic part. It's kinda hard to get used to MC's face when you start the game but eventually he becomes bareable. And also the choice and stupid things that the MC can do will make you facepalm but at least it progress the plot.

Overall this is a great game, there's some flaw but the maker did a pretty good job, i might even consider joining his patreon. I'll wait for the next Caribdis game and hope it'll be better or maybe just as good as this one....

A bit more extended Review: Once in a Lifetime is the embodiment of "Im a normal guy" and then everything happens. From infiltrate a prision to fight against demonic cults, you're gonna end in tons of funny, absurd, scary and even sad moments, all of them very well writen.
In the LEWD department, its damn good. Hell, even help me to discover how damn beautiful is a girl with is hair messed, more of this please. 10/10.
The only bad thing, if you wanna call that, is the sound or music. The game have a few soundtracks but most of the time its simply silence. I know not every moment in the game need music but maybe a bit more of ambient sound for those silent moments.
And that's all, 10/10, you have to play it.

Really enjoy the game. Decisions affect further events in a very interesting way which makes me replayed several times to fulfill the gallery. My final path points are 38/39/24/20 and get the happily-ever-after ending which is really nice and warm. But now I can't help wondering if it is possible to gain all 40/40/25/20 points and unlock some ultra hidden ending? Anyway 5/5, definitely worth playing

Once in a Lifetime is really well done. The cast is interesting. The art is well done. The sex scenes are hot. It fires on all cylinders there, but that is not what makes this stand out. The writing does. The story is really funny when it needs to, serious when it wants to, touching and heartfelt when it is called for, and somewhat over-the-top in a very pleasant way pretty much the whole way through. And at no point did I ever feel like the characters acted out of character. This game dev is one to keep an eye on, and this game is worth your time.

One of the, if not the best H-Game I've played so far.
I love the story and the characters, its just a pure bliss to play.
The mix of humorous storytelling and interesting scenery gives the game a very nice feel. I think this game is a complete Unique experience in comparison to many of the other games aviable here.

Okay, while this is a good game, but this is not a game worth this much.

The story had me rolling my eyes continuously. The thriller and mystery elements really weirded me out.

The scenery changes were bizarre. It didn't make sense why would the creator needed to make the characters go to japan and change all their costumes and scenery. It even got a map for that section. Then to the "resident evil" village with all the weird animal masks.

The sexual scenarios were interesting and the girls were cute and sexy, but other than that the game really put me off.

An excellent game with a funny and sexy set of characters. The humor flows, the models are super sexy, and scenes are reasonably steamy. The buildup is pretty good, which I think is sometimes not handled as well by other games. Highly recommend a playthrough.
