Hey guys.

Today we are releasing another major update. This is the ending to the Harem route.
This update also ends all of the main routes in the game.

This update contains:

• 1365 new images
• 7 new gallery images
• 30 new animations

You need to start a new game, as the game had changes done to it since the last update to this route and it is built on a newer version of Ren'py.

You can skip through the game faster by using the "Tab" key, instead of "CTRL". It will automatically skip between choices.

Personally i'd say it's better than give updates that have just few minutes of content for every route. This way the updates are at least meatier and you can ignore the updates that aren't for routes you're interested in.

I'd rather have a few minutes for each than wait forever for the one I'm on - and you don't know which one it is until you download, load it up and it ends at the same place AGAIN! Plus by them you forget most of what happened. I'd say it's been 2 years+ since there was the one I'm on.

So far the dev has notified during each update which path is getting the update, so it shouldn't be that difficult to find out if you should download the latest version or not.

you have to start from scratch anyway with the Harem ending update when it drops here, due to changes in the renpy engine used in the game. old saves will be incompatible

Because the routes differ greatly from each other. They are separate stories. Usually, each route simply means that a girl you don't want is missing but all of the events in the story stay exactly the same. In One Lie, the routes do have common events but they happen differently and in different places. Some events might not even happen on all of the routes.
If I was to do an update that included content for all of the routes, you'd either get just a few minutes of gameplay every 3-4 months or one update a year/year and a half that will contain enough content to actually call a content update. And there would probably be a whole lot of mistakes. It's hard to write and render for 5 different stories at the same time.

It did? Nice. It didn't work for me so I figured I'd tell people to start a fresh game. Thanks for telling us.
