I won't say it's "politics". The plot of Our Red String describes a world that is in an economic crisis - like the one that happened in 2008 or the one that is happening now. Small businesses go bust and rotten people like Seymour Ward buy them out for next to nothing.
The social problem described by Eva is kind of the background for the script, making the world even more alive.
Yes, if you delete the persistent file in the save game folder. But that would also reset all read dialogue.

Aw man, this game looks so good and i enjoyed their previous one...
But let me be stupid for a minute... like many others I utterly hate multiple protagonists
Without a MAIN character I simply can't connect with the story,
Having control over multiple characters equally makes me feel like i'm playing the sims, where's my only interest(besides building things) is how fuck up i can make their lives be

I think the former will almost certainly happen. The latter I think could happen if Lena is fully on board with Seymours scheming. Eva Kiss has done this kind of story before in GGGB, with Ashley helping in corrupting Iris.

Adding another path to a small character like Emma seems a bit much and I don't think Emma would do something like that with Seymour, it would require a lot of development and time dedicated to it. If anything I think she and Lena have a higher chance of sleeping together.

I don't actually think that idea is THAT far-fetched. There is some setup for it to be possible.
There is that scene in the coffee shop where they interact and we know Emma is freaky.
But we also know she has a strong moral sense and hates Seymour. I'm not saying it's impossible but it would require a lot of work.
