Ian's attitude towards Gillian is stored in a variable. So far the only functional difference (other than flavor text) is that "simp" Ian will automatically accept the coffee date, while Ian who was more aloof gets a choice whether he accepts the offer or not. Refusing nets you a Wits gain, but it's hard to say if the difference between attitude 2 and 3 in scenario where you do accept will play any role.Do you think this will imply something? Or it will not matter because in the end we get a plus relationship point for accepting the coffee date anyway.
I mean, on one hand you could think this is similar to "set boundaries" with Cindy, but on the other hand i'm not sure if EK would want two very similar arcs in the game, and it is quite different to be rewarded with effective "this is a smart thing to do" for choosing to stay away, period, than just having slightly different attitude about keeping in touch.
Guess we'll have to see, but someone will be eating good either way.
