There is interesting situation in EvaKiss games in that there clearly are "canon" pairings for characters based on their initial personalities. In GGGB those were Eric (the boyfriend), Dave (the man Ash wanted even being with Eric and who was cheated on by Eva almost instantly) and Jack (the bad boy seductor). In ORS those are Alison, Holly and Lena for Ian, and Ian, Holly, Robert and Stan for Lena. The "most canon pairing" being Ian and Lena. Those characters are drawn to the protagonist from the start, they often have something in common (interest in art, for example) and they tend to be on the good-ish sidet. Problem is... those are pretty dull and restricting. Eric was pretty vanilla and gone for the half of the game, Dave was unavailable for half of the game and vanilla. Jack was just shallow and you would need half of the game to turn him into someone worth fighting for. Alison is good, but nagging and restricts Ian from many other girls (Emma and Cherry and even Holly). Holly is good, but too proper with Ian. Lena is bland (and it's unavoidable because she is second protagonist, but still). From Lena side Robert is shallow, Ian is bland, Stan is almost non-existent.
So from Ian side most interesting girls are Minerva, Emma, Cherry and Sindy (but you have to be a real bastard to get her). From Lena side there are Mike (bad variant), Axel (worst variant), Seymour (who is, basically, old Axel with money, self-control and brains) and Louise. Ian definitely has better selection of partners.
