Besides getting stat experience for the best version I think the better book will lead to winning the book fair (without Seymour). And better songs may lead to Lena becoming a popular musician. We can't know for sure because Eva hasn't handled them in a while.

I don't get the chance to not become a couple with Lena in Chap 9 as Ian. I only get the " I want a relationship with you" with the ring icon option everytime.

That's probably because you told Jeremy that "you may be falling for Lena" in chapter 7. If you choose the "no strings attached" option, the second option unlocks for you in chapter 9.

IIRC you might need to have Ian be in loving relationship with Alison, so the option to be a couple with Lena is disabled. (do make sure to pick heart options for Ian/Lena and Lena/Ian where available, though) Then around Ch.11-12 give Alison cold shoulder and ignore her texts for the "love" to end, and allow Ian to get in relationship with Lena in Ch.12.

I pick the love options with Alison every chance I get but I don't get the " Embrace her " with the love icon option during their trip in chap 9.

Hmm yeah, checking the script that option is blocked if ian_lena_love flag is set. OK, i guess at this point it is quite official, the "get together late" route for Lena/Ian isn't really possible to pull off even if you jump through a lot of hoops, with too many mutually exclusive restrictions in the earlier part of the game that prevent the final conditions from being possible to fulfil.

Probably best to wait until next Chapter to see if maybe EK has already realized/fixed that on their end, and if it persists then notifying them about it might be in order.

The simplest fix would be to allow the player to select manually a casual relationship with Lena even if they're eligible for romantic one, instead of attaching conditions to it like "isn't in love with anyone".

During the 1st playthrough I failed all things to make Ian and Lena a couple. Fucked all budies, fucked Axel 3 times. No option in chapter 12 "I want be with him". Nevertheless, I just replayed chaper 12. I used 2 will points to reject Axel before the train and 1 will point to reject Ian's exgirlfriend in his dream. Success )). Ian and Lena are a couple. She isn't happy about Cindy, but still all things are ok. She rejected all other guys after that with no option. However 1 will pont is used to reject Seymoure.

So I'm still a bit hung up on the fact that the Holly+Lena+Ian route didn't get a proper narrative follow up after the beach trip. I suspect most players here don't really care, I guess the dev is going to cater to the patreons and put more focus in the sex scenes but I DO CARE ABOUT THE STORY DAMN IT, MAKE THEM BE CHEESY AND PLATONIC TOO.

To embrace Alison Ian can't be in love with Lena, can't be with Holly and you need high relationship status with her.

trust me I care. I am a fan of throuples and have actually been in them before. I love seeing games portray them well (mutual 3 people loving each other and not just 2 people liking one person).

I am just sitting here like yea the sex is great but set your ground rules guys or this is never gonna work. I am hoping we see something more with it in Ian’s path but I kinda expected it to be Lena pov starting and Ian’s ending the conversation.
