Maybe the rival humans find a way to use the dryad dna to bring about a race of evil hybrids or something completely new, and its up to Juno to stop them. Regardless of what direction you can take, I think there's enough meat there to make a sequel story.

It has been a long time since i last played the game and saw the ending but if i remember correctly the doctor was close to making a cure for the infection and that alone would be a powerful barganing chip to get more people to join Juno, and while most people would harbor resentment for all infected (Dryads included) i don't really think they could get organized and powerful enough to fight back, joining up with Juno is the best course of action for any survivor regardless of what theyr opinion about the dryads is.

That being said it would be cool if we could explore the future of this world with a new cast of characters 10 to 20 years into the future.
