I get it that it is problematic that an artist leave the project, but you should at least chose one that make art that looks like the old one, or at the very least art that look like a dark fantasy art and not some generic cheap medieval fantasy, you can't just ignore the fact that the characters just looks way worse and are way less detailed, the art is an important part of the game if not the most important one, and it's the dev's job to find a solution.

Well I've had had this game on on my radar for a while, but if this is how the dev responds to criticism, then I'm probably going to remove it from my wishlist.

Don't blame the dev. He has consistently been quite vocal in Patreon and SubscribeStar as well as in their Discord about progress. He also explained several times that they had difficulties with artists leaving. He also mentioned they are in the process of hiring new artists (which is not cheap.)
How many times must he remain polite and bite his tongue when someone ignores multiple progress updates and just trash talks his work?
Every time. All that's doing is just proving that he got into his head.

This isn't your local election where zingers and one-liners win the day.
I have no interest repeating myself 50 times over if people can't be bothered to stay barely 10% in the loop - especially on a literal piracy website.

That's part of being human. Everyone changes. People change. Whether for better or worse, depending on what you go through and how life treats you. Their line of work isn't exactly easy. Finding new artists is like salespeople looking for new deals and landing said deals. Art, in any shape or form is a stressful process that requires a lot of patience, and that in itself has a lot of stressful moments that you will encounter. Now imagine that with people not thinking about any of that, who have no consideration but their own selfish desires, because they're not "satisfied", yet still trashtalk you despite you doing your best regardless of your own imperfections. This aint a world full of rainbows and ponies.

I view it more as showing that everyone has a limit. Like this ain't the corporate world, we on a piracy website. I swear it's like people forget that shit. Where my mans is in here answering questions or addressing issues, asked or said a million different times. Some normal which can still stack up to be annoying after the umpteenth time. While some come in rudely and he still tries to be nice. Like a lot of folks ain't even paying for this stuff. But still expect immaculate customer service with a smile. Especially when folks come in acting like an ass. That shit will never not be wild to me.
Which is why I know for a fact that I couldn't make it in PR, the face of a company, working with customers, etc. If I was in raven shoes (which would be a bad idea), I would've been trolling the fuck outta folks a while ago.

Yeah, good points. I'd throw in my two cents again about numerous people asking the same questions over and over.
This site has a search feature. When I'm reading a game thread (or I discover an adult game so I look it up on f95 for more info) I don't immediately post a question. I use the search function to see if my question has already been asked.

Also Mrs Winward & Thea's relationship scores are stuck at 1 and 2 respectively.
