Yea I can expand. What I mean by up in the air is if it will be included in the game or not rather than it being avoidable. I'm leaning towards not including Netorase storywise and the concept of Netorare/Cheating is a little dicey but I won't include stuff like a full-on cuck moment (MC walks in the room and LI is getting plowed) at all. Hope that clarifies things more.

Thanks for pointing that out! Honestly the game is still early so those scenes aren't gonna be implemented straight away but I might actually consider a patch if more people want it. I also play Takei's Journey so ik what you're talking about.
By next update, I'll see if I can implement a patch for Nanako related scenes and moments similar to the Hima Patch. If I do, I'll probably update her sprite and Koikatsu character solely for the patch as well.
Just remember not everything is set in stone and I would like to hear from y'all about this stuff!
That's certainly encouraging to hear.
I will say, though, that it would be best if you try to make a decision on that specific topic ASAP.
Netorare is not exactly a tag to waffle on, or to introduce later into the game without clear warnings and intentions. People either love it or hate it. And the ones that hate it especially hate it when it shows up several updates into a game that they've invested their time into as something unavoidable, regardless of whether it's on-screen or not. Anyone who dislikes netorare will almost certainly, unless they know for certain, that it is 100% avoidable - meaning their decisions (whether that is a hard toggle/switch, or actual in-game choices) allow them to stop any netorare from ever happening - completely avoid the game wholesale.
On the other side, while some of the netorare fans will appreciate a game that is not entirely focused on it, and simply has small amounts here and there, most will likely not be satisfied without said "cuck moments" included.
Obviously, it's going to have to come down to making the game you want to make, because if you don't, you'll almost certainly burn out before you are able to finish. But when it comes to the more controversial tags, like netorare, you really should take the time to decide how you feel about it, and what you want to do with it for the game, and how it will affect the audience for the game (or even what kind of audience you want for the game).

Thanks for this Rick. I do think I should inform the players early instead since I have noticed people are very binary when it comes to Netorare.
By the next update (end of the month/completion of episode 1) I'll clearly state in my thread whether Netorare will be present at all. The main story isn't dependent on NTR either way so the decision isn't going to be devasting for me as a developer.
EDIT: I updated the game's thread to reflect my comments on the special tags (Loli, Incest, NTR).

The game will be focused on Rise as the title says. As for Lewds, I'll make a section on this thread about available lewds and future lewds for characters.

From the intro it seems like your writing would naturally slot into a traditional Netorare story. Then again perhaps I am seeing that from a somewhat biased perspective since I was hoping to see something like that anyway.
Personally I like Netorare stories and games that include a vanilla route. That intro with Margaret made me assume that would be the main drive, protecting/driving Rise's newfound lust towards you rather than other people.
Anyway I'm interested to see that vote when it happens.

It's great hearing your interpretation of the Prologue! With the way I'm writing the story, I like to make things as ambiguous as possible to set up the stakes and things for later episodes. I'm pretty concrete on how the flow of things will go and it's great seeing what people think what's gonna happen next.
