ok, update, sent this to avast and to a friend, my friend is telling me it is a false positive which happens a lot with cracked games, i will make an exception in my av then block it with my firewall, screen record network usage on my 2nd monitor, if all is well i will report back that it is probably a false positive

i think that is where i got it from, that or pixeldrain usually, almost never use mega, just used it to download the paid for game from subscribestar though, paid for version does NOT install that file, so going with malware for 500 alexIs that with download from gofile link? Did you all download from same downloader? Sometimes virus hijacks an upload.
I never had problems with one of the Uploader before. But having a virus in a downloaded game is a hard pass for me. I deleted it after Kaspersky get rid off it.

Mine looks the same after playing the recent version.
I think this is the case, or something like it. I scanned both the zip and extracted file, when I downloaded it. Also looked for the files Razor identified. Nothing found. I downloaded 3 days ago. Game works fine, although nothing that new. One of my favorites tbh, even if the development is slow.

you have to actually launch the game for the first file to be created, then it installs the second file, which i assume is the server most likely, a lot of malware typically runs on a server/client platform
I have launched the game, multiple times. No such thing happened with me. I scanned the files beforehand, as well as scanned my computer with both Windows Defender and Malwarebytes afterwards. I compared the file I downloaded 3 days ago, to one I downloaded now. Identical. As far as I'm aware, the Gofile link is clean.
Downloaded pixeldrain version, as soon as i started game google chrome shut itself and that never happened with any other game or app i used while having chrome running, idk what it is but gonna download malverbytes now,might be panicking for nothing but if there is malvare tied to this upload whoever is uploader shut be perma ip banned never to have access to this site.
So after scanning apart from bit torrent related files which i think are false positive everything is fine, still weird how starting this game shut down chrome, maybe some kind of conflict but that never happened with this game before.

Your virus protection might not be flagging or quarantining it as multiple people have stated having issues with the Gofile upload and you are the only outlier....
