A bit confused regarding the 'Alpha Pokemon'.
I spawned one in without realizing it, an Arcanine on Route 4 above Ashwood.
I saved before fighting it as it ran towards me because I was fairly panicking. It disappeared after the saving.
I came to the game thread to look into what happened, and found out what it was and why it happened. And also saw that the vanishing act apparently is working as intended for now.
Is there any way to get that 'back'? Or is it a one and done deal? Are these spawned in with a script, or can I run in and out of a route a bunch to try and force one to spawn? Or something else?

As long as you're naked, you can reload the area for a chance for it to spawn again. Just listen for the Pokemon cry to know that it spawned in.

It's a random chance every time you enter a Route. You may have to get some ways away before you get another chance. My testing was inconclusive.
