This, basically. It's the same as "story boarding" like they do with movies. Planning out not only the story, but the individual scenes, character positions, and so on. It's a huge time saver in the long run, and helps avoid wandering off on tangents too often. It's just far too tempting for someone with a strong number of subs to keep stringing things along forever, and it's nice to see when someone "sticks with the script" and bangs out meaningful content moving the story along every time.PRECISELY, knowing where the story goes, also means, that you know exactly what scenes yo need to work on and therefore, you don't need to add "chaff" to the story. What the heck do you though "knowing where the story goes" meant?
