Buddy, the last release was in Jan. Its Oct now.
His content is top notch and he releases info and teasers regularly so us fans are happy with the wait but to say that the " dev can pump out such quality in a relatively small amount of time" Is just factually incorrect.

For some reason, when I was half the age I am now, a year felt twice as long, relatively.
Never said i had an issue with the time that he takes. Just saying it is quite a long time. The Amount and quality of content is definitely getting better per update.
BUT if there is more than 10 months between releases??? Something needs to be done better.
Either get help if needed or breakdown the content into 2 or 3 updates instead of 1 REALLY Big one.
Not for this game though. Because of the way the story is structured, the flow would be broken.
For his next project maybe.
This level of quality but a third of the size very 3 -4 months? thats what Record breaking games are made of.
Call it lessons from development.

Kudos to you for recognizing this. There are interwoven plot threads in each chapter, and every character gets some time in the spotlight. If the chapters were broken up the releases would be more frequent, but less satisfying.

I get what you are saying, but in the end we're going to have to wait either way. For me it isn't a long wait because i know the update is going to be huge and quality stuff. It's more fulfilling to me. It just comes down to the difference in patience it seems. Releasing an update every 3-4 months wouldn't be "better" it is just what you prefer.
Maybe, first he finish the main storyline, then we don't know, he might do more a what-if OR move on to the next game.

kind of. the coming chapter is the last full chapter, then we will get epilogues for the girls. That's the last of the content that will be made for this game and then WWG will move onto his next game. I say kind of because even though there's not much left, it will still be a while before we get it all.

I cannot imagine any next game can compete with PV - especially with Ophelia, Brenna, Keira and Lucia.

Sorry for being dense, but what am I missing?

- I see the robot in the bottom right that gives me a set of specs in the form x/y

You get "points" for helping with chores and such, but the dev decided to drop this grindy stat system. These events are still playable/repeatable, but if you notice they play out exactly the same every time, you can simply avoid them and focus on story events. There are other events that seem repetitive, like watching TV with Ophelia, but if you pay attention you'll notice variations as you progress. You might have to use a little process-of-elimination early on, but eventually you'll recognize when/where not to go. Also the robot ("Helper") in Sterling's (the "MC") bedroom shows your progress through various plot lines, check with it for clues.
