this game is impossible. you get little to no explanation for what to do, you have no time to do anything, and you lose way too easily. i understand wanting to make a challeneging game, but there is a difference between challeneging and impossible.

I manage to consistently survive. My issue is that I just can't seem to move forward. There seems to be some thing you can do with fighting your mom, and I think it has something to do with giving your dad lots of beer. Which I never bought, because I was trying to save up $250 from the supposed hint. There's definitely some major kinks (not the good kind) to be worked out in this game.

Apologies dev but even after downloading the new html files (i just downloaded it and replayed the game) I still see areas in the code where people could be locked out.

Overall Tips and Tricks to those struggling with progression/locks:

1. First, before even starting the game open the html game in notepad and search "submition" and change that to "submision"
2. When doing the first quest that involves getting the diary, there is an event in the parents room that will trigger you to get the diary once you have the funds.
3. Submission 2 seems easy enough to do but in case anyone has trouble just reply to this
4. To get to submission 3, this may seem tricky but the only way I managed to without hard editing my save was to pay the debt fully, only night invade once choosing the in parents room option, then go to sleep. This was because a variable called "$attacktrigger2" activates a event but only if its at 1 so repeating that option locks the event unless you change the variable back to 1. This also unlocked shrine immediately for me once hitting submission 3

At this point I feel as if the game got more straightforward anything I left out usually meant the ingame-guide was enough to keep progressing. Keep in mind it may be worth saving before moving forward with submission level.

Btw are all the images and gifs in the content folder used in the game or some of them are kept as extra just incase you want to add it? I see many images and gifs in the folder that don't show up in the game for me.

First of all, I would like to thank the developer for the fix. The result solved the problem that I couldn't get stuck in level 2 before. Unfortunately, a new problem has now appeared: after the update, level 2 directly jumped to level 4, and I can't play the level 3 event normally
