Oh boy, I was attracted by the references to that certain game (big fan), but boi, the animations are horribly bad. The exact opposite of "smooth". Like from <2020 
Same goes for the overall render-quality of the statics. Instant turn-off for me.

Have a problem here. After naming my guy, when Panam asks our name, this is what I get:

Since you're using both, both variables need to be called in order for the name to change in dialogue. Hope this helps anyone else with this issue.

Not a bad demo or anything but there was something about it that made me feel like it wasn't the beginning of a story we can expect to continue but rather a teaser made to create interest for a game that isn't in production yet. Like it was made as a proof-of-concept to generate investors for a production that could happen down the road if there is enough interest.
I'm not saying that's what this is but there was just something about it that made it feel like a prototype rather than chapter 1 of something.
