I get that Sir Damned is dedicated to this game.
I get that Alorth works his ass off on multiple projects.
But it was 8 months. 8 Months of development time between one update and another. And yes, there is a good deal of content for an update based on your paths.
But not 8 months worth. So I'm sorry, but get your shit together. You're either making this, or you're not. 1 update in almost a year is not a feasible schedule. I don't care how much other stuff you have to do. 8 months of taking people's money to develop what amounts to about 2-3 months of content for any other game.
1000 Renders sounds like a lot. It's not. Most games do between 200-400 new renders every update, even the ones that come out monthly.
4000 lines of code sounds like a lot. Unless the lines are short. It's not like saying that you did 4000 lines of words in WP document. Sometimes in coding a line could be nothing more than one or two labels and commands, especially in Python.
So to the Devs, I say this with all respect and admiration for this piece of work:

SirD made terrible mistakes both in Polarity and Radiant with the antagonists introduced. He is not a "great storyteller"

Pretty sure they didnt plan 0.1 version to get as much buzz as it had. They can say whatever they want about F95, but damn if this game didnt skyrocket because of this place and us. I am pretty sure it wouldnt even have half the patron it has rn and would probably would have less by now with this schedule.
What blows my mind is that there are people paying over 100$ a month for this. Like... wtf?! I mean this could actually be (and the 0.1 debut was a really good start) one of the top VNs in the site but good god, 2 devs that actually know what they are doing, doing short updates every 8 months its... its too much. Yeah, the quality is there and you can tell there's actually effort for details but good lord... its 2 freaking devs! With the crazy amount of money they are getting from this project I would rush whatever other projects they have out the window or finish asap so they can make this a new BADIK. But I guess people will pay a lot regardless

Gotta agree with this 100%, with devs out there like Killer7 making massive updates for MNF and working on MNM (with a giant first version) every month or so, 8 months for a few hours feels like milking to me. That's why I'm a patron of Killer7's and not this game, because yes the quality is fantastic and I'm loving the game but I don't really trust the dev

I think the only mistake he did with the antagonist in this game, is that he introduced him too soon. The mc is already dealing with a lot of stuff, he could've added the neighbour later and the game would still have enough drama/conflict to be interesting.

i checked the official WT and it's said better keep secret when hanging out with mira for harem path, so is this a multiple route? because i tried to do a solo brooke route and mc still ended up hooking with liv. btw maddie's path is only dark? it's seems mc have more scene with her in dark path.

You dont need an antagonist to have drama. This game had enough drama without the antagonist. The best dramatic moment in the game was Grace's letter, not a random cop stopping you in your driveway.
Antagonists are cheap ways to add drama, it turns a possible good story into a Disney or Marvel story. Which is way i said SirD isnt a "great storywritter"

This game is designed to play into Coomers deepest fetishes and kinks and hits all of them simultaneously in a rather brilliant way (teens, incest, twins , etc) . The whole debate about if it's good story telling or not is silly. That stuff is all subjective, it all comes down to personal preference.

There needs to be a “Crazy Motherfucker” tag or a “Sick sadistic fuck that should be offed” tag. Enjoy your game.
