i collected all the effigies. what bonus/Hidden scene am i suppose to be seeing?
Nothing yet, by the end of the game you'll get a bonus scene for each character that you have all 7 effigies for.
I downloaded the Steam version of the game, to be honest it's quite strange that one free version (on this site) hasn't been updated yet but has one content, and the Steam version has additional content, but it ends on the scene with Hart's attack.
I didn't quite understand how and where to pick up the effigies . Should I hover over them with the mouse, or should I do something else.
I would also like to clarify - are you planning to release a finished and complete game next year? Don't get me wrong, I understand that developing such a game takes time, but right now there is not much content, to be honest. How much of it is planned for the release, or does the release not mean that it will be the final version?
To get the effigies you have to click them. I haven't figured out how to approach that with a controller yet.
Since last month we've been reworking the choice system and overhauling the sex scenes in the game. We finished the changes to act-1 in time to release it as an updated free demo for the Steam VN festival, but the next supporter build still needs another 2 weeks before it's released with all of those changes and new sex scenes. Today the artist is working on an animation for an added cum inside choice for Lena's sex scene in act-2 and I'm still working on the story.
This far out it's hard to tell and this is only a rough estimate, but based on where we are now and how much we've been able to add per month since the artist and I went full time on this last summer it looks like the final game is probably going to have somewhere between 20 and 40 animated sex scenes and be somewhere from 90k to 130k words. That's maybe 6 to 9 hours of total unique gameplay across all of the paths, but a single play through will take less time. We're planning to just keep updating the romance paths in act-2 for the next 12 months, then start wrapping up the story and character paths in act-3 afterward.
Launching on Steam is weird and we need to learn more about it over the next year, but if we launch on the same week as something huge like GTA6 or something even bigger like Concord our game is basically guaranteed to fail. We're going to get the game to a point where it's complete, then just keep expanding the romance paths with more sex scenes and polish until we have an ideal launch date. During that time we're also going to start ramping up on our next project.
