You should be able to!
You are probably launching the game from within the ZIP-folder, you have to unpack it into a seperate folder on your pc and play from there.

(If that's not it, then make sure you're launching the game as administrator)

Glad you liked it!

Oh not really no. Sometimes there is a loose bit of inspiration but generally these characters are made and altered bit by bit. Sometimes the first version is based on something, but all the characters in the game are often v5 ~ v8 of the initial character.

I tried your game last night and i really liked it so far
Only advice (or request ahah) is to add more trampling scenes (barefeet, heels and so on)

I'm in the Console room to fix this puzzle for that guard in the Grace sidequest, but I have no idea what to do. Only the first button works, the other buttons make click sounds, but can't be pressed down. I also can't leave the room until that puzzle is solved.

I can't remember the order, but if the puzzle resets, you start again.

Unless there is some crazy specific bug at play, all you have to do here is click the right sequence. Everytime a button is correct, it will stay down. If you hit the wrong button, they will all come back up again.
