Did you go to this spot below the water temple where Mira's previous event took place?

Out of curiosity, are there any plans to „rework“ the quest-log, like adding more hints to existing quests or where to find new ones? Don‘t take it the wrong way, I have seen you help out people that get stuck for years and appreciate all the time and effort you are putting into supporting your community to have a good experience, but it does make me wonder if it‘s too much effort to change things ingame or you simply disagree and believe that guiding the players too much ruins the experience

If I were to start the time skip portion without meeting every possible character and doing every possible quest before the first time skip, do I lose access to all of those quests and characters or at least some of them?

Yes, kind of.
There are often requirements for quests neither Ryen nor the players can't know beforehand. Like when the event takes place at a location that you have to find or unlock first, or a different character is part of the event, so you have to meet that char first. Such things are hard to hint at. In some cases, I made quests that "guide" the player to the right locations once they have all requirements for something, but that's not always possible.
And since the quest won't show until you have the requirements to trigger it, the quest-log can't really be used to show the players what they're missing anyway.

An idea I'm considering is to make a new special screen, where you have icons for all quests, which show with green/yellow/red colored icons if the quest is done, available, or locked. Interacting with the icon would tell you more about the quest details and requirements. This way, it gives a quick way to check what quests you're still missing, and how to unlock them.
The main problem is a big amount of work to realize this. However, as you pointed out, something like this might help a lot of people and reduce some frustration. So I'll probably add this, or something similar, at some point.

Feel free to let me know your thought on this matter.
