Do me a solid and lay off on the artillery strikes so the dev and testers don't have to interrupt their work and duck for cover every 3 minutes. It clearly had an impact on this release's quality control, what with all the errors and completely missing animations.

This as well, but it's just the first file that's missing:

Couldn't find file 'movie/day_12_jenny_cowgirl.webm'.

There are others, but the game crashes at the above error after ignoring... three times I think.

You're not wrong. However I'd counter with, it's 2022 - you can buy 10tb+ drives for a couple hundred quid.

Sorry but that's complete nonsense. Just because there are bigger HDD available we can waste drive space and design bad software? Software must be efficient. Using a format (PNG) that takes 90% or more space than the proper ones is totally unprofessional and illogic.
All the big Internet data holders (I have read messages from Facebook, Amazon...) are pressing browser vendors for the adoption of Jpeg XL, a new format more efficient than old Jpeg and WebP. Keeping files smaller and transmission more efficient is very important. So yes, also porn game developers should know the tools they are using.

ok i am stuck, keep getting this everytime while mc is in the bar on day 9 i can't progress at all. even when i click ignore i still get the error massage and it send me back to the start of bar dialogue.

ALL .rpa MUST be INSIDE game folder! bruh, dudes
and DON'T mix versions of base game and patches: official png, official webp, unofficial compressed, with each others
i think, kwargs errors usual mean some incompatibilities with updates \ old saves \ previously used mods

I don't know, soooooo. Is it harder for devs to use mega or is it just a choice by them? I use mega and never had a problem. wish that was all that was used. most the others, hit download and cross your fingers. my opinion

Wrote a little drop in to handle all the missing file errors until a proper fix shows up.
Thought I might share it with my fellow degenerates.

What does it do?
If it's looking for a .png, but can't find it, it will try for .webp (and vice versa).
If it finds nothing, it displays a pink square.
Should work for missing animations too.

tl;dr: Just drop it into the ./game folder.
