Man, it's rough to watch Rikolo's stuff nowadays. He was one of the top creators a few years back! I hope he finds something to inspire him again soon.

I don't even think it's him needing to find inspiration, I think a lot of his recent flops have been him trying to learn new things but his workflow is so fucking dogshit that he produces 1-2 things every few months. Which means anytime he updates people come expecting to see the stuff he KNOWS how to animate and leave disappointed when he drops some slop like this.

Bragging about not paying while literally on a piracy forum is some crazy energy tbh. It's fine if you think his latest works are shit, but the people supporting him like it, so why would Rikolo listen to randoms?

Randoms or payers, audience is audience. The same question applies to his supporters—why would Rikolo listen to them? If financial support alone justified creative direction, we'd be drowning in nothing but mainstream, generic crowd-pleaser content. If he cares about feedback/improving at all, then every opinion has potential value. I'd much rather support the content he was releasing in the previous years.

Yeah, randoms can become payers if what's being released justifies the value, maybe some people here (me included) were at some point but stopped after stuff became bad. Why stop at sub par content because you're conformed with you current earnings when you can do better and increase that? The curious thing is that our friend there didn't care about criticism toward the creator, just about people not paying. If bragging about not paying on a piracy site is weird, what would getting annoyed by non payers on a piracy site be? Lol.
