My first real review! Hopefully different than my one off rants, stuffed in the forum, and chock full of ADD, and grandpa Simpson stories that don't go anywhere.
K. Here we go.. I liked this game, obviously, I gave it 4 stars, but as to the why, well, while there is a grind for us public peasants, the grind is kinda necessary for triggering the events. The events you can't trigger, the game let's you know what benchmark you need, MOSTLY.
Usually there's a prompt as in you need 45, or 30, or whatever for this scene.
Now there are stats that really don't do much. Exhibition, aka indecent exposure, for those with some misdemeanors out there, doesn't do much as far as unlocks, for maybe a couple scenes.
Corruption is the main stat, as far as unlocking scenes, and also the slowest to go up. Lot of people like slow corruption, BUT, it's not like there's a slow progression, so you go from basically anything less than 30 is convent material. Not sexy convent, just a boring chaste convent.
After 30, you're a Slut, but the scale goes up to 45, which is Whore level. What's the difference?
Outfits.
You do unlock scenes as you go, but often the progression works in that, you unlock partial scenes.
Now, I've mostly complained, but there is some filler stuff in between, if there were more, than I would probably rated it to 5 stars, but they're working on it still. If they don't fill the gap between 0-30, by the completion, I'd probably say it's 3 stars, but I figure they'll continues to add content, and then polish it all towards the end.
The pregnancy system works, but it's relatively new, so you have a baby, yay, which is a name, with a baby daddy, and an age. The baby the just sits on your sidebar, and sucks off your purse for, I assume the end of time, which...let's be honest, is pretty realistic.
Now obviously the pregnancy limits a lot, so it only incubates for a bit over two weeks. So if the baby is 9 months old at 2 weeks, then, if you did some math, every month, it's 1.5 years old? I dunno, and it doesn't seem to matter, other than you can shuck it off for adoption, or it will drain 10 percent of your total net worth, every week.
Outfits. There's no point, really in buying a lot of the outfits, as they contribute to the beauty stat, +1 for makeup, and you need at least a 3, for one scene unlock. So buying the 100 to 200 dollar outfits have no purpose, currently.
I enjoyed the game, since the scenes mostly used scenes with actresses that looked similar to your portrait character. Not all, but most.
The walkthrough is mostly helpful, minus the Thomas Party. Never said anything about a key, so it took forever to find that, to complete that scene unlock, which I stumbled on by complete accident.
The Instagram and streaming thing also don't work, ATM, as every day it says I've already streamed, or posted, when I haven't.
Overall, I did enjoy it, so I gave it four, but it's closer to a 3.5, with the negatives above.
I played it till I unlocked about all I think there is, minus the model thing, and hopefully they continue to improve it.
HTML games get a lot of hate, but I generally like them.
