On that note, I think his Marika model is so popular that that's what everybody imagines when they see her mentioned anywhere, since the game model doesn't really exist (in her better days that is). There's only this

Yep. Funny how Sciamano's drawing of Marika served as the bases for pretty all of her depictions moving foward. Then Ryan Reos came along with his model and cosplayers followed suit and now it is much harder to find OG official art of Marika.

I'm sure this isn't unique (a NSFW artist's version of a char overtaking the original version), but I can't remember of another case of this happening.

I just saw this on twitter and had to comment on it due to how pathetic it is. Like imagine having a model that you made as a dedicated fan, that's pretty much became a culture at this point, gets trashed by insecure lunatics because it's somehow an "unattainable beauty" standard for them.

Bunch of brainless idiots who can't even sparate facts from fiction, like thousands of game models are made to be extraterrestrially beautiful because they are fictional characters and people love beautiful things. It's that simple, really
