I'm a bit torn about Seasons of Loss, because on one hand we see that NTRMANs production values are clearly improving but the writing has taken a hit. The animation and the visuals are a clear standout to most NTR Media in general but this does not mean that he should be relying on that alone. However, NTRMAN seems to be prioritizing quantity over quality with most of his works being short, and as a consequence the plots are super rushed. When Seasons of Loss was first announced, I was excited because it was going to be a multi part series. Finally, we would be able to see decent character development and plausible plot progression. However, this does not seem to be the case, as the main characters make completely ridiculous decisions and the plot is cliché from start to finish.
Within the first day of the mom meeting the antagonist, she immediately has sex with him and begs for impregnation. Her morals and character flip so fast that by the end she blames and abandons the main character for everything that has happened just because he called her a whore(which she is btw). Ironically the antagonist has been calling her a slut and other derogatory names from the beginning and she literally loves it, which further proves the point that this character development makes no sense.
The H-scenes are fantastic and if they were actually backed with solid reasoning and slow corruption this game would be 5 stars. Funnily enough, NTRMAN describes this series will be medium to heavy in terms of mood, but in reality its more like light to comedic. Multiple times I found myself laughing out loud at how quickly things escalated. I suppose the only reason why it could be considered heavy is because the poor MC is gonna be ruthlessly cucked by all his loved ones for silly reasons one after another for simple shock value and that's it.
In conclusion, I do think the game is worth your time, but it definitely shouldn't be taken too seriously. The H scenes alone are worth the time investment and honestly you could just skip to them with absolutely no consequence to your enjoyment.
