is there a way to disable the infine laser? kinda weird you put it on the same key you use to fire the laser.

No, you just always have a laser ready to fire — normally, the meter for it requires charging it up to fire one, I believe.
I don't think it's a cheat toggle keybind so much as more of a reminder that you can always fire the laser.
