This mini game was just something I wanted to try for fun. To me, its bonus content, not story content, not established character content. It was for my personal development more than anything.

In the interest of demonstrating that I listen to player feedback, I'll tell you the plan for this mini game. Once the loop is in place, if the player has not beat the mini game after x number of loops, steve will text some strategy tips, if y number of loops pass and the player hasnt unlocked the sex scene melvin will text the cheat (which is currently implimented) to set the timer to 2 seconds. So it will eventually be completely accessible.

Now, the development considerations that I don't expect players to consider, or know about; the loop is not complete, so many game mechanics like this one, are not implemented. The texting and photo interfaces are not performing the way I want them to, so Im not expanding on that until its fixed. There is a huge list of things that need to be done, before the game plays the way I want it to.

The game as a whole is a work in progress. I cannot emphasize this enough on this site. The current state of the game, is not the way it is meant to be played. It is so funny, that so many people here, were not around for the 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 updates of the first game, and are leaving reviews and comments saying the game isnt as good as the first one yet. No shit. You're eating an under cooked pie, the apples are raw, and the crust is doughy.

Let the thing cook.

So far only Emily's text and photo are bugged, its the Gym one. Hopefully Baily will be more important this time around as she was the driving force and main goal of MC in the first game, yet she was only a side character.

All good. I’m happy to address this type of stuff.

There are a few images that used depth of field. Maybe they weren’t perfectly done, but I don’t use them often.

Some lighting has changed. Which does affect the look of characters.

The png to webm is compression, and does affect image quality. But all the processes are the same as the previous game.

Tbh, i've felt bad about that rant/vent. Quit smoking some days ago, and maybe that absent irritability isn't so absent after all. No excuse tho.

Doesn't quite seem like DoF, it's not an overall blur or focused blur. Looking at hair with background visible or curls, that's what made me immediately think upscaling. Has this sorta telltale "not quite right" grain/smudge. But could be some setting with your rendering, i know those hair strands look very aliased and worse with no processing.

I hadn't played that much before making the initial review, and it becomes less noticeable with more scenes viewed. Not that big of a deal. I'd have preferred a more rounded cheekbones, but they are what they are and i played your earlier game every update, so...

Compression rarely does wonders, blurring, blocking and color banding mostly, but raw png isn't viable i get that. Can only imagine how much space the originals it takes up on your drives, if you keep backups.

Well i won't take up any more of your time. And I'll leave a constructive review, when you're nearing completion (And I've gotten used to being a non-smoker).

I hope that this new version has more sex with Emily, who in the first game only had like 2, if anything 3 scenes with the protagonist, that was a good waste of character, but I trust that the creator will make this version better.

I wouldn't say it's boring. The art and models are still hot, the writing is good, and the dev is expanding the settings where scenes happen. Technical/UI improvements are nice. I also like how the game keeps the gameplay loop recognizable from the first game but adds a lot more variety.

But the second game is missing a lot of the fun of the first game. In the original, it felt like things were constantly going off the rails in the sexiest and weirdest of ways. Neither the player nor the MC had any idea what was about to happen in each new scene. Now, with a more confident MC, girls who are more open/direct about their attraction to him, and Alexa more focused and not causing as much mischief, the scenes are a lot more predictable. It doesn't help that the sexual content so far is mostly tamer than the content with the same LIs available at the end of the first game.

The dev is obviously very talented, so I hope he'll be able to recapture that magic as the second game gets built up.

For what it's worth, I didn't find the minigame to be that difficult. Challenging yes as it still took me a few tries and I didn't realise on my first tries I could also use the keyboard. Once I did I quickly beat the game and it took me another full replay to notice the shift pop up for lewd scene...

People on F95 are constantly complaining about minigames and can't even take the slightest challenge, I find it silly for what is still supposedly a gaming community.

When you say there is a huge list of things to be done, are these things mostly about the basic structure/coding of the game? The story? I've always wondered how you have handled the story development, like do you have a detailed outline for the next few updates?

Ashley is absolutely adorable in her new scene.

It's really sweet how she opens up a bit more emotionally, and that you can see how the protag is influencing her self-esteem. She's helping him to be more confident as well, and every scene she's becoming more public about their relationship.
Hopefully she finds a hobby or field to be passionate about, as her need for validation seems to partly come from her feeling aimless.

I love how she stamps her foot and pouts, and even details like how she holds her hands that expresses her femininity.
You've really nailed the mannerisms and expressions of the characters, and it really elevates small moments and conversations.

I really like how the new choice hints at a "pimping" route with her, similar to content in Sins of Night. I personally don't have any interest in ntr, but the concept of a woman who is so submissive and eager to please that she is willing to turn herself into a sex toy for her partner is a really fun fantasy.

The way the scene is entirely focused on Ashley getting turned on trying to please the protag, and how disinterested she is in Thad outside of his use as an object in their relationship, is a really fun dynamic.

It's awesome to see her autosexual kink in full force still, and her blowjob animation is unbelievably hot.

I really love all the other new scenes as well, the girls are still great, the humour and word-play is on point, and although it's rather foreplay focused at the moment, it's creating a groundwork and hinting at some really fun content.

I love that Lexxx is finally in the spot-light, and the hints at content between her and Sam. Part of me hopes that she retains some subconscious memories or impacts from her interactions in the first game, keeping her individual rather than just copying Alexa.

I love Bailey's new design too, she's incredibly sexy, and an adorable mirror to the protag's personality.

Also for what it's worth, I really liked the mini-game, and I love that it rewards you for winning rather than losing. The knights design is gorgeous.

So glad to see this going strong!

For the prevous Game there was a build in "Hint" System or walktrough Mod of some sorts. Ill miss that in this one. I still have some unlocked scenes but dont know how to unlock them. Right now i am just skipping to all scenes and hope that somehow something happens.

Really enjoyed this update, especially the Emily and Sam shower scene, and the idle animations. I wish the dev would show more of this wet glowing skin texture thing(I think that's what it's called?) in the game, maybe in the gym scene, with the workout and everything eventually leading to some hot sweaty sex would be so hot af. Anyways, looking forward to the next update, hopefully with more Emily and Sam scenes, they've always been my favorite characters in this game.
